Sorry ladies another name poll :/ but I need help and hopefully I do this poll stuff right.

My DH is set on James (after his uncle) as the first name and I don't want it as a first name b/c it reminds me of my SIL crazy b/f, but I would be ok with it as a middle name. We are trying to stick with family names so were working with Louis or Louie, James (I suggested Jameson), Matthew (my brothers name so would only want as middle), Elliott and Jeffery. Any help, ideas or suggestions. I'm open to outside these names for ideas too. **Our DS1 is Everett Arthur

    I totally agree! I am in love with it but Elliott with Everett isn't sitting right :/

    I agree, Elliot and Everett are too similar (but I voted for Elliot because I do like it). I don't like the name Jameson but I do LOOOOVE Louie and like Louis for a first name.

    So @Sahara6971‌ thoughts on Louie James?? I guess I didn't even think about Louie as a first name and like I said my DH is pretty admit on getting James in there somewhere :/

    @miniwheat10‌ that's what DH said and I came back with "but you love drinking Jameson!!" He rolled his eyes at me, I guess it's not the same ;)

    Of course! We were going to try to stick with family names since DS1 is family names but I am totally open to other ideas. I just get extremely overwhelmed when I look at "Popularity" or Top 100, etc name list

    Are there any other family names you like? Have you checked a little further back than parents? I look as far back add possible with family names just to have a great variety.

    Ok this is a really dumb question but I set up the poll & now I can't figure out how to see the results of what people are answering....does anyone know how/where I can find the poll results?? Sorry I am not a tech savvy person :/

    Jameson is on our short list for a potential DS. I voted Jameson Louis.

    Dammit. All of this. Sorry for the massive reading fails, your poll might be skewed. Louie is just the sweetest name--you never hear it! So fun!

    Well everyone knows I would obviously vote Elliott but I too agree Elliott and Everett are too close... I actually like a lot of your choices. Louie is less my style but for no particular reason. James Matthew is cute. James Elliott is also really cute to me... It gives me a James Dean vibe for some reason and I don't know why.

    I actually don't know why James never occurred to me but it's a great, strong name that could be a cute little dude and a CEO someday. Good job on the names mama

    Elliott and Everett are too similar. I voted for James Matthew, but would have voted for Louis James (NN Louie) if that was an option. Louis is a great name!

    If you don't want James for the first name did you ever think of switching James Matthew to Matthew James? Just a suggestion.

    Thank you so much ladies for the advice! I was feeling self conscious about the name choices, because I felt like they were "old" or too original. They're all family names so now I'm feeling more confident in using them. Now just have to get the DH to give his input & agree on one ;). It's been like pulling teeth getting him to talk about names. I'm thinking it will end up being James Matthew (DH favorite so far, I think) or if I can talk him into it Louis (Louie NN) James. Again thank you ladies for the support & help :)
