What week do babies move down to birthing position?

My daughter is 30 week and just had her sonogram they told her the baby was already in the birthing position and baby's usaly don't change once they are in this position. Does this mean she could have the baby earlier or be further along because she doesn't remember the first day of her last cycle the baby is also messuments are about a week ahead so we have so many questions but dont see the Dr until next Wednesday

My daughter was head down for a long time, like the whole 3rd trimester.

This baby has been head down since at least 22 weeks. My first was also head down about the same time. My midwife told me at my 30week appointment today that baby was in great position for birth but that didn't mean it was going to be any time soon. She is also measuring 8 days ahead of where she "should" be. Don't stress or worry about it.

Definitely a question better suited for your daughter's doctor, but FWIW, my baby has been head down for several weeks now. I believe as of about 26 weeks. She's still there at 38 weeks.

Even weirder, why does she have a picture of her pregnant daughter as her picture. Or maybe it's herself and they're pregnant at the same time a la father of the bride 2....
