... is not me.
When I spoke with the Advice Nurse (as I wigged out over virtually nothing), she began listing things I should not do, including:
1. Ride a hot air balloon
2. Go deep sea diving
3. Swim with dolphins
4. Bungee jumping
5. Ride a speed boat
I laughed as she enumerated a list of things to not do. She asked me why. I said, "The most exciting thing I did today was ask for the extra value meal breakfast at McDonald's."
So tell me: How many of us are this adventurous that we have to forsake such activities?

Things i won't be able to avoid: Ride in a Speed Boat. Not sure if a ski boat going 33mph is a "speed boat" but my H is a huge water skiier, i am his driver, and we literally bought a waterfront home on a lake yesterday. There is no earthly way he's not going to want to go skiing over the next few months...he even has a wetsuit so he probably has 4-6 weeks of good skiing left this year. Sigh.
It riding in a boat really all that much bumpier than riding in a car? i don't really think so. maybe if it was really rough on the water, but if it's rough H won't ski so...problem solved.
I have a trip planned to Six Flags too. I enjoy roller coasters so, sadly, I'll only be able to enjoy the Fright Fest portion of the park. And I guess there will be no renewal of my season pass for next year either.
My husband owns a boat; he's an avid fisherman, but I can barely keep it together when the water is the smoothest ever..I think he drives to fast and I'm always getting tossed around the boat. Needless to say, I hardly ever get invited anymore because I whine hahah.

Interesting about the hot air balloon and altitude. We always go up to Lake Tahoe every winter and the altitude is much higher up there. I mean I won't be doing any snowboarding since I will (hopefully still) be pregnant, but I also don't really see how going on a hot air balloon is a sport and to me it doesn't seem any different than driving up into the mountains. Maybe I'm being illogical?
H and I are going to Disneyland next weekend so I won't be able to go on many of the rides, nbd though.
