I'm a huge horror flick fan and the AHS discussion got me wondering what movies are your favorites? The clown was also not a very effective scare for me on AHS, but his part in the show is my favorite aspect so far of this season.
So, give me some recommendations/faves, ladies! My all time faves are Silence of the Lambs and the original Halloween, with newer faves being The Pact, Insidious, and REC.
I love, love, love horror movies. All of them. I may only see 50% of what is happening because I watch from under a blanket, but I still love them! My favorites are House of 1000 corpses and Devils Rejects (which is weird, because zombie or supernatural are my favorite genres)
Love the rob zombie remakes of Halloween. I also love the remake of Friday the 13th, when Jason starts running, that was a whole new scare. But the all time scariest movie in my book is and will always be the original 1970s the Exorcist.
Excited to see the ouiji board movie and Annabelle. A little upset about the name Annabelle cause I did want to name my baby girl Annabelle, if I ever have a girl.

I'm with you on the name! I was very annoyed! I love Horror too. I was on a Stephen King book kick this summer and people thought it was so weird.
I don't watch Halloween. Seen it once at 14 in the dark on Halloween with friends and it scared the crap outta me. I made my dad check the trunk before I got into the car that night - no joke.
I was raised on Horror movies. All of the Stephen King classics, and cult classics, especially from the 80's. I'm a big fan of slasher and zombie sub-genre, and supernatural horrors are fun, too.

If anyone hasnt seen it, Joss Whedon's "The Cabin in the Woods" is by far one of the best horror satires I've ever watched. Plus ... Joss Whedon so yea
Love the exorcist (the version where she spider walks down the stairs).
Also The Grudge and The Ring are movies that legit freaks me out. Something about the long, dark, stringy hair over the face with only one eye exposed scared the shit out of me. Also the throaty noise she makes when crawling head first down the stairs in The Grudge gives me nightmares.
I was always a fan of the Shining and loved the Conjuring. The conjuring is supposed to be loosely based on a true story and I'm a sucker ghost stories. I've listened to a couple interviews with the family and I would love to visit the house if I could!

I'm with you on the name! I was very annoyed! I love Horror too. I was on a Stephen King book kick this summer and people thought it was so weird.
I love dean Koontz to read, he has a weird supernatural feel like Stephen king.
Don't know if the new movie Dracula fits into "horror" but it was a pretty good movie. My husband is Romanian so we enjoyed it even more since Vlad is a hero in Romania bc he saved Europe from the Turk/Islamic invasion.
The Haunting The House on Haunted Hill The Dollhouse Murders (This one was geared at a younger audience but was still super creepy. When I was a teenager it gave me nightmares)

I LOVE Dean Koontz. Hands down he is my favorite author. I actually have a couple books signed by him.
Horror movies are my THING. Love love them. When other kids were growing up on Disney movies, i was watching all of the freddy and jason ones by like age 7. My favorite scary movie is definitley the original Halloween. Do not like the remakes at all. Same with the Friday the 13th original and remake. I did, however, like the remake of Amityville even though it got terrible reviews. I actually went to the Amityville house and the new owner told me to go away LOL. I also like the Shining.

You're Next was so unexpectedly good! I loved it. I also ended up downloading "Looking for the Magic," the song that played on repeat throughout the movie.

That's awesome he is also one of my favorite authors, Just bought a new book by him I can't remember the title right now but waiting for a chance to start reading it bc once I start his books I can't put it down.

I am from Long Island and went to the house and it's so obvious it's the house bc the number of the houses go from like 240 242 then 135 then 244 ( bc they changed the address ) and they changed those identifiable windows too. It's such a quaint neighborhood otherwise

Ha that's so cool you found the house! I also don't care for the Rob Zombie Halloween remakes as much as the original.
