Gas pain?

Has anyone started feeling "gas" pains? I cannot always tell if I'm experiencing some cramping or if it is just trapped gas? I'm only 5 w 1 day and I'm wondering if it is too soon for this type of symptom?

    I've had crazy gas this pregnancy so far! I've read it's a normal symptom. ☺

    Yep omg the gas. It's horrible especially at work when I'm desperatly trying to pretend I don't smell anything and it's totally NOT coming from me.

    I've had a few nights where I've been woken up from gas pains.  The outcome isn't pretty...

    I could not agree more with all of you. I think (hope) what I am experiencing is gas pains. It also could be constipation. Before finding out I was pregnant I drank a ton of coffee, 4-6 cups daily, wondering if all that coffee was keeping me from being constipated. I am not sure but I think it's just gas pains. I feel like I've been burping and farting like a middle school boy lately. Kind of gross, but I can't help it!!!

    I'm the same way. My husband is complaining all the time about my gas.

    So. Much. Gas. My doc said gas-x is fine (one tablet) 
    DH & me - 31. 

    BFP #1 09/27/14 -- MMC 5w (discovered 8w) 
    IUI #1 - #4  - bfn (late 2015 to early 2016)
    01/03/17 - 12mm x 6mm polyp removed from uterus- neg path, yay!
    IUI #5 - February 2017. Hoping for some magic 
    02.22.17 - BFP! EDD 11/01/17

    Baby G has arrived! 10/14/17

    I am five weeks as well. Since my third week I have had bad gas pain. It has helped me to take gas-x before bed and make sure I am earring enough fiber. I have less pain now though am still burping like no ones business!

    Ha! I'm so glad someone asked this! I am so gassy and seem to be having to go #2 much more frequently. (TMI?) I've started to get worried about cramps a couple of time only to be relieved shortly after, in more than one way.
