7dpo progesterone

Morning, ladies :-)

I posted a few weeks ago about doing my first letrozole cycle after 3 follistim cycles. My 7dpo progesterone level was 6.8, pretty low, right? The nurse said that my RE just wants to switch to clomid next cycle if I'm not pregnant.
I've read lots of info about progesterone, much of it conflicting. I guess I am just wondering other's experience with progesterone levels
I'm surprisingly feeling pretty disappointed with that number.
And, no, they still aren't telling me to start supplementing. It just seems weird to me.

The first time I was tested for progesterone, I was at 15.6 so my RE assumed I was good. I got tested again last cycle and I was 7.8 so I started crinone. The nurse told me they look for double digits for progesterone or they supplement.

I have no idea what my numbers were, but my RE told me that they put almost everyone on progesterone suppliments while doing treatments.

I was put on supplements during my first injections cycle but I don't know what my levels were. Then the second cycle my level was in the 50s so I was taken off the supplements. I started spotting two days later and got my period 3-4 days early. So I kind of have mixed feelings about the supplements.

@lemonliz‌ , progesterone can be stray d after confirmed o. On injects, I usually would start 2 days after IUI. During previous pregnancies (losses), I started after bfp. Those were all natural cycles though

My LPs are fairly normal, 10~13 days.

It is technically reverse order! Well, at least opposite of what we all normally see. He's not the one that started me on injects and he wants to try oral meds before investing so much in IVF.

I will of course ask my dr all these questions, was just wondering what experiences all of you have had :-)

In my past two cycles I've started crinone 4 days after trigger.

I never actually had the 7dpo bloodwork done since we said it wasn't going to affect our treatment plan anyway. I automatically started suppositories 4 days after the trigger (they do this for all IUIs). The times I have had progesterone taken it has been <1, which I guess is normal for follicular phase, but I am very interested to see what it will be on Monday when I have my bloodwork done (it will be 16dpiui).

My last cycle of trying I did Letrozole and started progesterone suppositories a few days after TI. I didn't ever test progesterone levels, it is the just the protocol my doctor uses.

My first cycle of clomid my progesterone was 13. My RE likes to see 15 and above during a medicated cycle. My progesterone was 43 for both my second and third clomid cycles. All cycles ended with BFN so I don't take my progesterone levels seriously any more.

The second cycle I did take progesterone suppositories and it really f-ed me up emotionally. When I got my negative BETA and was told to stop taking the progesterone I had a mental break down and thought the government was after me, so pretty much unless my RE insists I take progesterone suppositories in the future (this cycle I asked for them because my luteral phase is short) I will not be taking them again.
