October is Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness month, and today is the national day of remembrance. Sending hugs today to all the wonderful CD moms who also unfortunately have the unchosen badge of 'loss mom' as well.

I will be participating in the wave of light tonight to remember and honor each of your lost little ones, and would encourage others to do the same. Just light a candle at 7 PM your local time and let it burn for an hour.

We have a teddy bear that we bought while I was pregnant with our angel baby. It sat in the crib awaiting it's baby friend. I keep it in my closet now. It never seemed right giving it to any of our other babies. I got the teddy out today and gave it a big hug and cried into it. I love ALL my babies. Even if they are not all with me.

::hugs:: to all the moms who have lost a baby. I lost blob almost 3 years ago, but the pain of loss never truly goes away. I send all my good vibes to all the ladies in here who have also lost a pregnancy.

I had my first m/c in 2003, 2nd in 2004, and 3rd in 2006.....Some days I think of how old they would be today but thankfully the soul shredding pain does dull as the years pass. When I think of them today, and when I see kids around the ages they should be, I can smile. The part that makes me saddest today is remembering how little support and help I received from the ones that should have been providing it. I pray that those who endure a loss today are given all the support and help they need to heal and grieve.

I didn't see this until now so i will light my candle tonight. I had a CP in 2009 and i know several who have lost babies. I'm praying for all of you. Please also remember my mom today. It would've been my parents 35th anniversary (my dad passed away in June)

You guys are awesome. I have had several losses and each one has changed me a little bit forever. But I have one loss that still rips me apart. I lost my first daughter. She would be in first grade this year. Normally I get all gung ho about this and we do something special on this day, but now that I have a daughter, I'm not dealing well. I look at Lola all the time and can't help but wonder if this is what Elisabeth would have looked like or sounded like. I feel like a total ass that I couldn't bring myself together to do something special yesterday. I'm so glad so many of you did.
