Pregnant after a Loss

Secure Beginnings - SafeSleep Breathable Crib Mattress

Does anyone know anything about these or know someone that has used them. I have tried to research a little but not really finding anything conclusive.

Obviously I am going to follow all the safe sleeping guidelines but anything extra that I can do to make sure this LO is safe I will do. A little gunshy if you know what I mean.

My daughter passed away from SIDS while someone else was watching her while I was at work and they didn't follow the safe sleeping guidelines.

  • I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughter. I don't have experience with this particular mattress, but from what I've read a very firm mattress is best. Ceiling fans are also good for air circulation.
