NBR - Spice Cake

You guys - my house smells AMAAAAAZING. we're having company for dinner tonight so I made my fave cake - can of pumpkin purée and a box of spice cake mix. (Easiest recipe ever)
Now I can't wait for Fall to finally get here :)

Btw - for those of you interested, you can use the can of pumpkin with any flavor cake mix - you won't taste the pumpkin. Makes it very moist, and a drop healthier too. (No eggs or oil).

    I am slow when it comes to baking...it is just a can of pumpkin and spice cake mix...no oil, milk, water, or eggs they say to use on box add?

    My grandma just made her homemade spice cake this past weekend with cream cheese icing. I was so happy and I think I had like 4-5 slices lol. I took some home, it's my favorite :)

    It was a big hit tonight!

    If you don't want to use or don't have pumpkin, you can also use a can of diet soda (not sure about regular soda, I've never tried that) and a box of cake mix - the flavor combos are endless. It comes out a little fluffier than the pumpkin version.

    @jacqueandadam‌ I don't use frosting. I let it cool completely and then dust powdered sugar on it. Try to do that right before serving if possible (if the sugar sits on it too long it gets absorbed and you can't see it, and it makes the cake look pretty so you don't want that to happen).
