Am I Pregnant?

Pregnancy Test 1 photo PGTest.jpg

Seriously, these "guess the sex" posts are reminiscent of the "am I pregnant posts" of 2+ months ago.

I just want them to stop!!!

Re: Am I Pregnant?

  • I'm amazed at how someone could feel so comfortable just blasting into a group and asking us to stare at their kid to pinpoint their junk. It's like walking into a conference room and shitting on the table.

    ETA I'm incredibly feisty today.

    Lol at the visual!!

    Is that frowned upon?
Well, it depends what the conference is for, I guess?
    Like, say, Shitters Anonymous?
Is there a Can't Shit Anonymous? Cause I'd join that right about now.
If join even if it wasn't anonymous! That's practically TB itself though...Should we have the first meeting?
I'll go first: my name is angie and I have a problem. I don't understand how it's possible to have to shit sooo bad, yet nothing comes out. I need help...

Sometimes when I go so little comes out that it reminds me of @RHoPA1109‌'s post about shitting pennies

  • You know I wouldn't mind the 'Guess the sex' posts so much if there was an actual potty shot included. Posting a pic of a fetuses' face or a side view with legs hiding the junk is about as useful as asking me to guess what kind of toothpaste you use.

I was going to say the exact same thing. Seriously, how are we supposed to see that???
  • I find the "am I pregnant" posts hilarious. I sometimes read them for fun because it's so silly. I was a little sad this wasn't another one, however late.
  • Not as awkward as a chick who goes to take a shit and plop- there's a fucking baby in the pot! That show creeps my shit out! How do you not know? Are you that clueless??

Me too! How do you not think there's a problem when you pee like 20 times more a day and I never dialated but how do you not know your vag is getting bigger where a baby can fall out??

So someone actually just posted in the "14 weeks and still no bump" thread that their sister didn't know that she was pregnant.

I have seen the show and wondered if anyone actually knew someone like this, and apparently there are. It is crazy to me that they get absolutely zero symptoms the whole time

  • I'll join the can't shit anonymous club.

Hi my name is KM and I can't poop. Makes me sad and cranky...

Does anyone want to guess what I'm having? You can guess on Christmas when we cut open the cake. I think blue is boy and pink is girl? But it will be Christmas themed, so might confuse people with all the green and red. My family has already guessed and I just keep saying its a gummy bear.

  • I met someone who didn't know they were pregnant. She said she still got her period the whole time!! She also went to the doctor twice to be checked out and they told her she wasn't. She did go to the hospital during labor though.

  • I had a colleague once who told me his sister had no idea she was pregnant until she went into labour. She was a big woman so she never noticed a bump. Apparently she didn't think anything of the absence of her period because she never had regular periods anyway and she though the baby's movements were just gas.

  • A cousin of my fiancé didn't know she was pregnant with her now 4 year old son. She was always a larger girl and the day she went into labor she thought she had bad kidney stones so she went to the emergency room. Ended up with a baby and no kidney stones.

That was me. I had seen the show before as well and thought there is NO way someone couldn't know they were pregnant. Well then my sister proved us all wrong. She played high school softball, summer tournament ball and went on to play college ball, all while pregnant. (So very active and still had her random periods) She came home every weekend - so it wasn't as though we never saw her and she was hiding it or something. She never had a "bump" like most women do. Yes she was a bigger girl than most, but not so big that you wouldn't be able to tell. The doctors said that they way that she carried the baby - she would have never shown and more than likely wouldn't have felt her. She carried her sideways and she was in her rib cages - I forget what they call it - but it happens 1 in every so many thousands of births.

She had a little girl - just shy of 8lbs - so not like it was a small baby. Miss Addie will be 2 next month.

Not to rain on the parade, but maybe I'm feeling equally sassy. I find it interesting that it's a social faux-pas to post ultrasound photos and asking volunteers to try their luck at guessing gender- even gross- but talking about your shits is fine and dandy. This board has everything from uterine cysts to cm commentary and it's taboo to post an ultrasound? Come on. It's not like you're forced to answer or read it and as you can see in this thread, pregnancy involves a lot of TMIs and questions. If you have all the answers, congrats!

  • @bluerabbitsmoon‌ it isn't TMI, it's annoying. If the us tech can't tell you the sex, neither can a bunch of pregnant strangers. It's like posting a pic of a blurry penny and saying, "c'mon people, guess heads or tails!" Maybe fun for the poster or family but for me, not a good game. Especially not fun when the poster isn't a regular contributor in the community so I can't even pretend to know them. And people wanna play over and over and over ...

My aunt was at our family reunion the day before she delivered in a bikini, where she got "food poisoning" and was told at the hospital she was actually in labor.

No one could tell she was pregnant and she still had regular periods (they were lighter than normal and her last one ended only 2 weeks prior), and the baby girl was like 7lbs. and 5oz. 20.5 inches long.
