Brunch anyone?

Hey ladies! Wondering if anyone in SW Minneapolis wants to get together for brunch sometime? Moved here last year so still don't have too many gal pals besides co-workers. Would be great to have some preggo friends. Let me know if there is an interest and I can set something up.

Oh- I did my intro on the M15 thread but here is my info. I'm from the San Francisco area, moved here last summer. FTM, due March 11th. Just found out we are having a boy. Live in SW Minn.

    I would totally be up for bruch. :) I'm new to all this and also new to the Twin Cities, too. We moved here from Georgia about a year or so ago. :) We live in Minnetonka but I have no problem driving wherever!

    I would be up for brunch sometime too! Did you say you are due in may? I am too! I'm in Chanhassen, but don't mind driving.

    Oh, and I am a transplant from Colorado, and I think making friends in Minnesota is tough!

    Thanks for the replies.  How does Sunday, Nov 2nd sound?  I'm guessing that Minneapolis is somewhere in between Minnetonka and Chanhassan right?  Still getting to know the area.  I'll do a little research and post a couple of restaurant options.  I live near 50th and France and they have some cute little spots. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

    @jennz201- I'm due in March and I agree that it is tough to make friends here.  Seems like everyone has known each other since grade school!

    Things are super busy for us right now, and I might be able to make the 2nd work, but I won't know until closer to the day. :)

    I *think* I can do the 2nd, too .... not positive but pretty sure! There are a few scrumptious Original Pancake House locations around the cities or we could do something central downtown or whatever works!

    I just found this local page.....and I would totally come to brunch! I am due in December and from MN. Where does everyone live? I live in Lakeville....I can make a couple suggestions based on where everyone lives :)

    So it looks like November 2nd is too up in the air.  How about any of the below dates?  I was thinking of 11:00 am if that works for everyone.

    Saturday, Nov 8th
    Sunday, Nov 9th
    Sunday, Nov 23rd

    @meghan7142- Welcome!  Would love to have you join us for brunch!  So far it looks like we are in Minnetonka, Chanhassen, SW Minn and Lakeville.  We can decide on a location after getting a date nailed down.

    Hi! I just found this board. I would love to meet some other Moms/Moms to be! I am due in December and moved here from Colorado in 2007. I think it's just hard making friends as adults in general... I had a hard time when I first moved here with people already having a core group who they've known since they were two.

    Anywho, I would love to do brunch too! November 2nd works for me as well as the 23rd. My shower is the 8th so I am a no go for that weekend... I am in St. Paul by the airport so I am pretty central and can drive where ever.

    I can do the Nov 2nd or Nov 23rd :) Or both if we want to plan two and whoever can attend! I think edina or Bloomington would maybe be a good choice. Edina has some cute places....Tavern on France. Bloomington also has many options!

    Okay, let's do November 2nd, Tavern on France at 11:30 am.  I assume we will need reservations so just let me know by October 24th if you can make it and I will call the restaurant.  If you are a maybe, then I won't add you to the rez but we can do another meet up later.

    Would appreciate not to have any last minute cancellations pending an emergency of course.  Last thing I want to do is walk in with a reservation of 8 only to have 2 people show up.  Lame sauce!

    Very excited about meeting other preggos near me!

    Am I too late to this party?  I'm also a Twin Cities transplant living in South Minneapolis, due with baby #1 February 2015!

    I'm not able to make it this weekend (we're hosting a house full of guests for our 3 year old's birthday party and our nb's baptism), but I'm interested in joining you the for the next get together.  I live in Shakopee so anything west of 35w is pretty easy for me.

    Hi ladies - I'm a transplant to the TC area as well ( originally from Texas), I've checked into this board a few times (not recently) and never saw much action - thanks @twincitiesmomma for taking some initiative!

    I'm a FTM, our LO was born this past July, and I don't have many local friends with kids. I'm too late to join in this weekend, but I'd be up for joining in the future.

    In terms of finding each other, I say let's just look for bumps like @meghan7142 suggested.  I'll come 10 min early to put my name in- it's Carina by the way.

    I know I'm a little late to the game, so obviously I'm out for this weekend. I have a toddler and a newborn, and while the baby can go anywhere, the toddler is another story. If anyone wants to do a more kid-friendly get together I'd be in (I could leave my big girl behind, but I don't get much time with her).

    I just found this message board, and if its not too late, I would love to be included. I am pregnant with my first child in early May and live in Brooklyn Park. I am happy to meet anywhere as it would just be fun to meet new people! I didnt see a confirmed date or time, unless I missed it- would someone mind fililng me in?

    I also found this board and would love to connect with other mommies in the city if it's not too late. I am due with baby 3 in Feb 2015, but will be having baby late January. I actually have lived in the cities, but I don't have very many friends with children so meeting new people would be great! I live in Blaine and work in Minnetonka :)

    @TwinCitiesMomma Im sorry I missed your email of the time of this! I traveled for work and then I haev missed work for a few days with bad nausea! Its been a whirlwind of a November already!  I would love to get in on the next one if you plan on organizing another one. I hope the first brunch was a success!
