I had my first official OB appointment today. My new doctor is amazing. We had an ultrasound, while on the screen, the baby jumped and moved it's arm. The baby is measuring exactly where it should be for my due date. The heartbeat at 167bpm and we heard it for the first time! It's the most beautiful sound IN THE WORLD!

Congrats on a great appointment! I'm jealous that you got to hear the heartbeat, my clinic said that they can't play the audio any longer in the first trimester.

Some study about the sounds waves that are emitted with a transvaginal u/s and how they are unnecessary. I thought it was kind of silly for five seconds of audio. Oh well, I will get to hear it with a Doppler at my coming appointments.
