Yeast infection!!!

Yep I got one!!! I had asked my MW about a month ago if I could take difulcan and she said it is fine. My question is have you been told that it is OK to take also? Have you taken it while pregnant? Just wondering if I should take it or if there is any other treatment! Thanks

    A single dose of diflucan is fine while pregnant. It's the daily dose of it that some people take for other conditions that is the problem. I took it last pregnancy and my 6 year old is perfectly fine and healthy. Took it about a month ago with this pregnancy as well. No worries.

    I had a yeast infection during my first pregnancy and my MW reccomended Monistat- only the 3 or 7 day treatments, not the one day treatment. It got rid of the infection and everything was fine.

    I was given something similar to diflucan when I had one. My doctor seemed to be okay with it along with my MW. I mean if you are concerned absolutely talk to your MW again about it...maybe she will suggest as PP to do the monistat or something else.

    I got one during my 1st tri on a Friday evening when my doctors office was closed. I took Monistat the 3 day one and only did 2 days. It went away after the first but I did the 2nd just in case. Then when I went to my doctors appointment the following Monday she told me that it was okay but always make sure with a doctor before I take anything.
