Blood Glucose lovely side effect...TMI

I did my blood glucose test today...i had the orange drink and I actually have to say I did not mind drinking it, maybe I am weird. HOWEVER.....right after drinking it the diarrhea started and has been followed with a tummy ache and gargling all day long. Other than this I felt fine but this was so annoying and rather unexpected. Anyone else have this LOVELY side effect?

diarrhea no. but this is day two of headaches dizziness nausea and vomiting. and just generally feeling like crap. started about ten mins into the hour

I haven't heard of it specifically related to the Glucola, but if you don't normally consume high amounts of sugar, introducing a lot of sugar into your body in a short time CAN have a laxative effect.

Wednesday FFC-- I sometimes bake cookies for this reason. I trust excessive sugar over chemical laxatives. haha.

Diarrhea is like the worst thing to be sick with ever. I would rather throw up, or have a soar throat, headache, leg cramps, i mean i can deal with almost anything else...

Y'all are sweet! Lol. Feeling soooo much better today! And I do make sure to eat sugar on a daily basis as a general requirement for my happiness lol! So not sure what the heck!
