Our walk this morning

I decided to go on a walk with the girls this morning, but FI borrowed my car, and the stroller was in the trunk. So I put DD2 in the ergo, and had DD1 walk with me. Halfway through our walk, DD1 got tired, so I had to carry her on my shoulders all the way home. I must have looked pretty ridiculous!

    Oh wow! I would be so screwed. DS is 31 lbs. There is no way I could carry him on my shoulders plus a baby in the Ergo. HA.

    Yeah my DS is 34lbs and I don't think I could have carried him plus another one!

    I've ended up with DS in the K'tan and DD on my hip several times now. Just happened this morning, actually. You gotta do what you gotta do :)

    I am fearing this is my future for months and months.  I suspect DD weighs about 40 lbs...she is not overweight but just sort of hulky--other kids look like ballet dancers compared to her.  She is completely out of control and is always running towards the nearest hazard--street, venomous snake, large river, etc.  I am still looking for a double stroller, but in some situations, this won't work.  I am hoping to babywear at playgrounds, science centers, etc. but I am sure I will be carrying a kicking screaming DD a lot of the time.  My favorite carry is her under my right arm--she cannot effectively push her way down or kick me.  However, I have to be an expert at babywearing because toddler wresting has to be possible without harming the worn-baby.

    I had this happen today, but with a 3.5 year old. We got some strange looks.
