Hello Ladies, 

I think it's time to move over to PgAL. I've been lurking for a bit, after finding great support on TTCAL. I don't know how I could have possibly gotten through our loss without those ladies. Xxxooo. 

My story: DH and I were married in 2011, and started TTC in late 2013. We got our BFP in March 2014, miscarried in April - only a sac shown, D&C May 1 - discovered is was a complete molar twin gestation - HCG dropped to 0, we were benched until October 2014, and started TTC on October 1. Well, after being back in the saddle for just one day, we conceived. I believe we conceived Oct 1 due to EWCM, high BBT, and +OPK. I took a EHPT two days ago, because I love peeing on things (don't we all?), and another this morning. Both positive. It it with mixed emotions that I share this because today I will be lighting a candle for LO lost this past spring. 

My mother was diagnosed Monday with MTHFR heterozygote a1298c. I had blood testing done for MTHFR and homocysteine yesterday at lunch and I should have my results back next week. I am concerned this may have added to our first loss, but I am much more optimistic this time around as my Nathuropath has me taking organic/vegan/GF prenatals with folate as opposed to folic acid I've also lost some weight and have eliminated food that I am intolerant after taking an IgE test. I'm also doing acupuncture and seeing a therapist for stress. Really, all of that is to say, I feel like I'm in a much better place physically and mentally than before our first loss. I'm concerned about the MTHFR, and I'm still processing that there could be a genetic issue. Time will tell. 

DH and I have decided to take this day by day, if not hour by hour. After reading the mantras I am embracing "Today I am pregnant and I love my baby" and "I am pregnant until someone tells me otherwise".

    Welcome and congrats! PgAL is definitely a difficult journey, but repeating the mantras helps. Wishing you a H&H 9 months.
