Prepping Question

Good morning, I was wondering how much detergent I should be using when prepping my prefolds and workhorses? I will be using Tide original powder. Also, I read that a diaper load should include approximately 18 diapers -- does this apply to prepping as well? Or can I include my 36 changes in the prepping loads?

    Put however many diapers "fit" properly in your washer.  I have a huge HEFL and can fit 2 days worth of diapers for 2 kids no problem.  But in my mom's old TL, I can only fit one day's worth.
    When prepping, I only use detergent for the first wash, and use tide to the 1 line.

    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    ^wss detergent for the first wash only. After that your really just washing to add absorbency.
