beta hell...

Ok so I am only 5w5d. I have had 3 losses so far. I do have two healthy IF babies. First Beta was a 9:( 48 hours later it was 67 and my progesterone was in the high 40's. Went in today for a check and I have had lots of cramping and low back pain and had a transvaginal us. There is a gestatioal sac measuring 5w1d. Had a beta yesterday that was 2250 and she wanted to see if it was dropping and redrew it today. It only increased by 100 to 2350. I wasn't worried until they called my beta to me. Any thoughts???

    I'm so sorry you are dealing with this.  I don't have any experience to give much insight...Do you know if they'll have you come back in soon to see if there is still any growth?

    I am going back in one week for a repeat US.  I wish that I weren't so anxious by nature. I can't seem to distract myself from thinking about this, lol

    The first few weeks are nerve wrecking enough, even worse with beta hell.  A few days behind isn't normally something to worry about much, but I know the beta numbers aren't encouraging.  T&P with you that it was some margin of error or fluke and you get good news next week.

    So sorry, must be such a horrible feeling. I assume they will be measuring again shortly?

    March:  IUI, ectopic, 2 surgeries with 1 tube removed
    May - July: 3 more IUIs, all BFN, on to IVF

    It's a girl!!!

    Any chance you could move up the u/s? Possibly make for Monday? I know it's stressful and there isn't much we can say to help but ultimately, there's nothing you can do and you gotta try to let it go and definitely try to find something else to distract you. I know it's easier said then done. Good luck!

    ***Losses mentioned.*** TTC #1 since May 2012. Me: 37, OH: 41. Ectopic August 2012 => tubal damage. :'(  Stage 1 endo removed June 2013. IVF #1 Oct/Nov 2013: Long Lupron with Gonal-F. 7R, 7M, 7F. 2 txfer@3d. Nothing frozen.  => M/C @ 8 wks. :'( Selected RPL panel all normal. Very hyper and brittle response to stims. IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm! Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!

    Please don't lose hope and try to stay positive.  I had very low beta numbers.  I had an IUI on March 22.
    1st Beta on 4/4/14 - 45.1 (13 dpIUI)
    2nd Beta on 4/7/14 - 163 (16 dpIUI)
    3rd Beta on 4/9/14 - 309 (18 dpIUI)
    4th Beta on 4/11/14 - 659 (20dpIUI)

    My first ultrasound at 6 weeks showed a gestational sac.
    My second ultrasound at 8 weeks showed a healthy heartbeat. 
    I'm now 29w4d pregnant.

    Keep the faith momma!
    Married on October 20, 2012.  Began trying in January 2013.
    RE appointment & testing December 2013 - February 2014= Unexplained IF, possible endometriosis
    IUI#1- March 22 (100mg clomid, 75 mg of Bravelle, Ovidrel trigger) = BFP!!!
