Umbilical cord attached to the side... Normal??

Hi Laides
I had a check up Friday and the Dr told me our baby's umbilical cord attached to the side of my placenta. I'm assuming this is not something that is unusual, I'm just trying to see if any of you have had this happen before? I started reading WebMD and I think that was a very stupid idea! I completely freaked myself out! Dr mentioned this could affect her growth, and I may have to deliver 3 weeks early. Did anyone have this happen? Thanks in advance for the responses
