Sicker now than before?

Hey everyone -
So I started with nausea around week 5 and it's been pretty constant from then...I don't throw up often but the nausea never really goes away even with meds. I'm at week 13 now and supposedly it's supposed to get better soon...but in this last week I have been throwing up more than ever - almost every day and some days several times. Has anybody else experienced MS getting worse before it got better? I need there to be a light at the end of this tunnel of sickness!!

It almost always gets worse before better, how long it will take before the "better" part, unfortunately no one knows.

Unfortunately there are no hard and fast rules as to when your ms may start to get better. I have heard of women who cruised through their first trimester only to be hit with debilitating ms come second trimester. But also like PP said, it can get worse before it gets better. I was sickest in the last few days before my ms started to get better. I hope that's the case for you. Good luck!

My MS started around 6 weeks and was terrible till 10 weeks. It lifted for about a week. Then kicked back in again full force. I'm 14 weeks now, and vomit daily who knows when this will pass.

I'm in week 12 and sicker now than I was before, it's come to a point where some days I can't even keep water down but I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that it's going to end soon!

Mine was at its worst during week 9 and then slowly began to improve. I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow and I still have days when it worsens and then there are days when I feel great. Unfortunately there is no set week when it will improve or go away. Everyone is different, and some women end up sick their entire pregnancy.

I hope you start feeling better soon.

I had 24/7 nausea from weeks 5-14, but the intensity was only about a 5. The past week, it seems completely gone in the morning, but comes on super strong in the afternoon/evening. No idea when or if it will improve, but I share your pain in terms of needing a light at the end of a tunnel!

Edit because mornings are hard

I've only had a few episodes before now. I'm 15 weeks and suddenly hit with ms, mostly @ night...heartburn and reflux mostly. Hiccups make me throw up in my mouth a little.

I'm sorry! I thought I was better the last week or so (10-11 weeks) and then yesterday was awful again. Mine with my other 2 pregnancies never got worse before it got better, but I don't see why it couldn't. Hope you get some relief soon!

I figured there's really no answer it's different for everyone...but it actually really helps to know I am not alone!! I just want to have one day where I feel good all day.....!

This post actually made me feel better to know I'm not alone. I started with nausea and vomiting before I even knew I was pregnant and am still constantly sick at 12 weeks. One thing I have found to help somewhat is acupuncture. It's pricey if your insurance doesn't cover it but I have found the day after I have a treatment I do feel a little better.
