Halo sleep sack

We received one of these as a baby shower gift, but it was the small size for babies 13-18 lbs. On a whim last night I decided to try it even though he's not quite 13 lbs yet. I was able to put him in his crib and he slept five and a half hours, woke for a dream feed, and slept two and a half more. I've gotten those types of sleeps from him before, but certainly not in his crib! I'm amazed. I was actually able to sleep in my own bed last night (we have the Angel Care movement sensor monitor so I feel comfortable being in a different room.) He was warm and cozy and could still move and kick his legs, but couldn't get his arms out of the swaddle, so he stayed asleep longer and much more peacefully. I'm really happy with this sleep sack and totally interested to see if I can repeat this tonight! Anyone else using one?

We use a few different types of swaddlers/sleep sacks. The hospital gave us a halo. LO will not tolerate having his arms swaddled, however, the bit of snugness around his torso and control of space for his legs/feet seems to comfort him in the larger space of the crib. He's been sleeping well in them.

We use one and love it. The second night we put it on her she slept 10:30-5:30 and has been mainly consistent with that since. It could have been just coincidence but I'm not complaining. We used one for DD1 also.

We love them! We have several of the halo swaddle sleep sacks and bought some more of the regular sleep sacks for when he doesn't want to be swaddled anymore. They gave us one when we brought him home from the hospital and have used them every night since. We tried some other swaddle wraps but he was able to break out of those. Haven't had that issue with the halo ones yet.

I loooove his sleep sack. I have a swaddleme, but he breaks out of that like a ninja, and regular swaddle blankets don't hold him either. We have been using the newborn size, but I am sad because he is outgrowing them and I don't have the next size up. It is the only thing he cant completely break out of. He sttn with his arms tightly swaddled, but if they are out he is whacking himself in the face and knocking his nuk out. I really need to find a size small or I might just let his feet poke out of the newborn size for a while.

LO breaks out of all the swaddle sacks we have :-( sadly they dont work for us.

We've been using the Halo from the beginning (at night). She's up to six hour stretches overnight, wake for feed, then back down for three more hours. Love it. She doesn't nap long in the day with one, but I haven't been consistent about putting it on for naps.

@stoofewok‌ The trick is to aim for the Velcro part to be lower than their shoulder. I always hang the bag upside down before I lay it on a flat surface. Then I put her into it and zip it up. I then make sure that the top part of each wrap goes around her body just between her bicep and shoulder. This way it doesn't ride up into her face. And you make it tight tight tight. Works like a charm. Although, she is starting to break one hand out lately.

We used several types & the halo worked for a while for our LO but we ended up using the zippy sack for longterm once she was rolling. Its worth the investment bc they can use it for so long!

I put the wings on top of her shoulders but angle them down sharply and very snugly. It looks like she's wearing a v neck shirt, and I tuck the upper edges under her chin. I tried wrapping the wings around her arms but they seemed to ride up that way.

Yep, love the Halo sleep sack. We're using the swaddle one in newborn size for now. We keep his arms out all the time-he hates having his arms in. He seems muchore content when he's in it.
