I searched to see if this was a repeat post, I think I'm in the clear…

I'm scheduled for a section in ten days and my husband and I don't have a name for our little boy. We have some favorites, but nothing's jumping out at us. Anyone else still nameless?? I'm starting to get a little nervous! A name is a big decision!

    I totally understand. We were team green and had a boys name picked out but hadn't narrowed down a girls name. When we welcomed out little girl we spent all of our time in the hospital with her and didn't decide on a name until hours before we left. You'll figure it out once you meet your baby! Try not to stress.

    The more i look into names, the further I get to finding one. (Team green so we need one if each) And my husband rolls his eyes when I bring out the baby book as he's already given me his favorite names (that I don't happen to like). I understand -- I never thought naming my baby would be so hard and somewhat unenjoyable. I don't know what it is -- too much pressure or what!

    Anyway, lots of parents have told me to go in with a list of names you somewhat like and then when you meet the baby it'll be easier to pick.

    Or you'll being baby home without a name -- for a bit.

    Agreed on the bazillions of name posts, and of course the whole baby name board, so you have plenty of resources, however, not having a set name before baby arrives is no big deal. I purposely narrowed it down to 3 names so we'd have some choice when we meet our little guy.

    Anyways, go check out the baby name board, that's where this post belongs.

    We have ten days to name our child and we can bring LO home. I hope we have a name before that though!!!!
    I am not stressed about not having a name picked out. She will!

    We are team green and haven't decided on a girl name.  We had decided a long time ago on the boy name, but I secretly don't like it much anymore.  My husband and I haven't discussed names in months.  At this point, I'm going to wait to meet LO and hope that triggers a name.

    Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't looking for people to name my baby…obviously. Just looking for some peer support from others that are in the same boat. I'm not stressing over it, but would feel better if we had a few names on our mind going into the hospital!

    Good luck to all of you who have yet to deliver!
