Early U/S

I had my first ultrasound today at 5 weeks 3 days. We are having twins!! I'm excited and terrified at the same time lol! They are measuring right on track and I have another ultrasound next week to hopefully hear the heartbeats! 

Any advice from moms with twins?

Dx: PCOS, Anovulation/Amenorrhea
HSG: All clear, SA: Normal 
Oct 2013: 1st consult with RE
Nov 2013-Dec 2013: Letrozole + Trigger + TI = BFN
Jan 2014-May 2014: IUI#1-4: Letrozole + Trigger + Progesterone= All BFN
Sept 2014: IVF#1: 24R/13M/11F
Transferred 2 embryos on 9/24, 2 frosties = BFP!!
Beta#1: 8dp5dt: 188, Beta#2: 12dp5dt: 822
Beta#3: 15dp5dt: 1965
1st u/s 10/13: TWINS!!
u/s 12/23: TEAM PURPLE!!

    Congrats on twins!  No advice, but I'm sure it's overwhelming right now.


    Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility
    IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN
    IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!!
    Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545  -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
    Camila Josephine arrived 4/30 :)

    Congrats!!!! I have no advice but DH is a twin and they are the best of friends so I think that is just wonderful!

    ***Losses mentioned.*** TTC #1 since May 2012. Me: 37, OH: 41. Ectopic August 2012 => tubal damage. :'(  Stage 1 endo removed June 2013. IVF #1 Oct/Nov 2013: Long Lupron with Gonal-F. 7R, 7M, 7F. 2 txfer@3d. Nothing frozen.  => M/C @ 8 wks. :'( Selected RPL panel all normal. Very hyper and brittle response to stims. IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm! Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!

    Congrats! There is a Multiples board that I know a few ladies from here participate on or just lurk :)

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Congrats! We transferred two and were very aware both sticking was realistic possibility, but it doesn't take away the shock factor :) I have been lurking on the Multiple board and just ordered Dr. Luke's book. So happy for you!

    Me: 31 DH:35 Married: 2010. 
    FSH: 5.7, AMH: 4.7
    Found 2.6 cm Endometrioma in March 2013: decided we should TTC
    2 rounds of Femara+ TI Nov-Dec 2013: BFN
    Lap Jan. 2014: removed endometrioma Dx: Stage 4 Endo
    Feb 2014: another round of Femara+TI: BFN, endometrioma is back!
    March 2014- July 2014: continous Lupron to shrink endo 
    July 2014: IVF 1: 9R, 7M, 5F, 5 beautiful day 5 blasts! eSET, 4 snowbabies! Beta: #1 2936 Beta # 2 7684 1st ultrasound 5w6d: saw yolk and sac, 2nd ultrasound 6w6d: heartbeat!! 112 bpm 7w6d heartbeat!! 148 bpm 9w 2d measuring right on track heartbeat! 175 bpm

    TTC #2 since 2011 (took 1.5 years to conceive spontaneously after multiple failed clomid cycles and 1 failed clomid +IUI)
    Me- PCOS, borderline hypothyroid
    Him- low concentration/count

    Feb 2014- started acupuncture
    Feb 2014- BFP
    March 2014- m/c @ 5 weeks
    May 2014- HSG, all clear, started Synthroid, Femara 5mg CD 3-7 + trigger + TI= BFN
    Waiting for new RE appointment end of July 2014

    Yay! Double congrats! Im 27wks with boy/girl twins and I am getting to the point where I just can't wait to meet them! Im not going to tell you it's been easy because it hasn't, I was very sick and am having the worst heartburn daily now that causes me to get sick, I'm very uncomfortable, and had to resign from my job, BUT it's all worth it! Ill do anything to get these babies here safely! Just take care of yourself and listen to your body! I do recommend the book by dr barbara luke when your expecting twins, triplets or quads. :-)

              One Grade 4AA Blast transferred, 5dpt- BFP HPT, 6dpt- line darker
              Beta #1- 50, Beta #2- 30
              BFN- Chemical preg
    FET#3 CD1-4/11, start Injections on CD13, ET scheduled- 4/29
             CD12 u/s & bw- Lining 8.7, estrogen 335, cleared for ET in one week!
             CD19 ET- Two Grade 4AA Blast transferred one with assisted hatching
             4dpt- POAS = BFP!....POAS everyday after = DARKER! FX!
             Beta #1- 703!  Beta #2- 4,004! 
             First U/S, 5wk0d- TWO gest sacs, Both with yolk sacs and a fetal pole both measuring 3d ahead!

    Thanks everyone! I went ahead and ordered Dr. Luke's book today. Hopefully that will help me wrap my head around the fact that I am having two babies lol.

    My History:
    Lots of BFN's & failed IUI's w/clomid and/or femara
    Finally BFP with femara & t.i.- son born 6/17/2010
    Started TTC again around when DS was 3ish
    Lots of BFN's with femara & t.i & ovidrel
    Tubes clear, S.A came back low motility but high count
    About to switch to injectables w/femara, did one last cycle with just femara & an IUI with ovidrel- stupid motility was fantastic in the sample, but count was 700,000 AFTER wash! Had to sign a paper to even still do IUI- BFFP (big fat freaking positive) Go figure!
    1st Beta 13dpiui 54, 2nd beta 48 hours later 115, 3rd beta 48 hours later 310, 4th beta 72 hours later 1748.
