AW: First Appt Nervousness?

Hi all. Just being an AW for a second if that's okay. I have my first appointment tomorrow and I'm a nervous nelly about it. We've had two ultrasounds to confirm the placement of the pregnancy (hx of ectopic) and then viability. But, I haven't had a doctor's appt yet because I switched offices after being disenchanted with the doctor who took care of me with the ectopic. This is my second pregnancy but FTM.

Any words of wisdom for first appt jitters? We'll have another ultrasound tomorrow and then meet with the doctor.

    write down all your questions in advance so you don't miss anything.

    You are kind of late for getting 1st tri screenings, but ask about your options for 2nd tri screenings if you want that information.

    I was in the same boat as you...first pregnancy was ectopic. This is my second and I have been a nervous wreck because of our first experience. Just remember that the most important thing with an ectopic is that baby made it to your uterus - that is a huge milestone for you! You have no other reason to think that this pregnancy would not be viable. Stay positive and as calm as you can. My BP was through the roof at all my appointments!     If you're religious say a prayer :) I am a worry wart and freak out before every appt. stay busy and try to think about all of the good things that will be happening the next months. Good luck!
