Plugged duct when LO slept through the night

Hi all, I am looking for advice because my LO is 4 m old and has started to sleep from 6:30-6:30 most nights with one feed around 3am. He only feeds on one side in the MOTN, so the other side doesn't get emptied for 12 hrs and becomes engorged. I usually switch the side I nurse on for the MOTN feed every other night. I was hoping my body would regulate, but now I have a painful spot up near my armpit and I think it is a plugged duct. I otherwise feel fine. My question is do I pump tonight to try get rid of the plug? I am worried this will lead to more engorgement once I stop pumping. Would really appreciate some advice!

    Thanks for the advice! I started pumping before bed and the engorgement is much better in the morning. I am also going to try to start switching sides halfway through.
