Ok, so I'm watching a program on puppies in the womb and I think they're showing cats in the womb next. They just showed a Golden Retriever eating her placenta after giving birth and explained that they do this to release a chemical which stimulates something-or-other. Ugh - I love dogs but that was just disgusting!

I wanted to watch that! I'm glad you gave me a heads up...maybe I will pass!
There are a couple cultures that eat a small piece of the placenta and then bury the rest in a special place (a garden or under a tree). I think its kinda interesting!
Here is a bunch of info on the different cultures views on placenta's... https://www.tidesoflife.com/placenta.htm
