Anyone else..

My DD is already wanting to sit up. She gets so pissed when I lay her on the Boppy and she can't see the world. She is happy when I hold her in my lap so she can look around. I also wear her when I go on my walks everyday (damn, that's a workout!) and I try to put her in it facing my chest so the sun and wind don't get in her face but that lasts all of 2 min of our walk.

Please tell me I'm not the only one.

You're not alone. DS has been trying to sit by himself for a while now, I can't have him reclined on anything if I'm not right there, I had him sitting against my pillow in the middle of my bed one day and he sat up on his own, and then tipped forward.. lol (I totally thought he was going to start crying and he laughed) crazy kid.

LOL. DD falls over but doesn't make a sound. Like right now, I just looked over and she's managed to tip sideways and is just laying there listening and watching Veggie Tales silly songs.

Lol, yeah sometimes he does that too, I'll look over and hes leaning sideways just hangin out.

DD is the same way. We have one of those infant to toddler rocker things from DS and she uses it in the toddler position. She enjoys watching the history channel with DH and gets mad if she is reclined and unable to see. She also gets upset when she can't chase after DS, I think we may end up with an early walker.

I pulled out the bumbo a couple weeks ago because of this. She's not totally ready for it, so she only gets a few minutes in there, but she loves it. She's getting much better at it now.

@jnnfrrose6‌ I did the same thing for DD, I push up against the couch to help support her head. She has a little lean thing she does and let's her arm hang over the side when she is all chill.

Same. DS has been sitting in his bumbo for about 5 weeks now. He can sit up on his own for a few seconds but typically gets excited and throws himself back. So he's not quite there. He also loves to stand up and bounce. I think an exersaucer is in our immediate future.

Love the idea of using a magazine as a headrest in the bumbo. I'm not organized enough to have one on hand when I do pop him in there. It would give him a bit of extra support when he's done and my brain hasn't quite processed he's tired!

DD does this. She hates lying back. Hates facing in while being worn (thank god I bought the Lille baby complete). She's constantly lifting her head and upper body when placed on her back in the car seat, rock n play, boppy, etc.

Yep DD is anxious to start sitting. She was playing in a little walker at my moms today and having a blast. I need to get something at our house to help her sit up more. She can sit for a few seconds before toppling over.

Omg yes! Baylor hates not bEing able to see. He's so nosy! He always wants to sit up and face out. I even have to sit him up while nursing now or he almost rips off my Boob trying to eat and look around!
