Names before our US!

My DH and I have kinda come down to the few names we like, but want to know y'alls opinion.

For a girl, we like Annabelle Reese (Gives us the option of calling her Anna, Belle, or even Bella Reese).

For a boy, we like Hunter Maddox. My DH is Hunter, but it is his middle name. So we would call our baby by Maddox. Their family has this thing where they all seem to go by their middle name, so that's the reason for using it that way.

What do y'all think?? Big Smile

I know that a lot of people seem to do the go by the middle name thing, but it's just weird to me.

I go by my middle name (or I did, before I got married and dropped my first name), so I don't think that's weird at all!

I love Annabelle, and I like that Hunter is after your husband.

Not a fan of Reese, although I know it's popular.

Not a fan of Maddox at ALL. I think it sounds like you're trying to emulate Angelina Jolie. But if you like it, that's what matters!

yayy! thanks everyone! my MIL hates Annabelle and so does my grandma! But we love it.. and so does my mother so we decided who cares what the family thinks its our kid!!! hehe.. I'm glad I'm getting good reviews! THANKKKS

My FIL is remarried to a younger woman and they are having children and everyone in the family thinks its terrible.. and they don't like anything about them being pregnant, esp. the names they pick out, so they just don't tell anyone the name until the baby is born, it doesn't give people the time to try and change their minds, as well as, once you have a name with a face, it's much more likely to be loved!

And just to back you up on Maddox: this name is in the baby book that MIL used to name DH 30 yrs ago. It's not like Angelina made it up.

thanks everyone! that was soo nice of you to comment and let me know what yall thought!! A lot of people from other places were bashing us for maddox but we found it on a baby name website I dont even like angelina and brad hahaha. but I mean it's cool! We love them and yall just confirmed it for us!!! thanks again!
