so today I went to the doctors I'm 15 weeks and everything went great baby heartbeat is 156 weighing 4 Oz and she even put the gender of the baby in an envelope for me then she said my cervix is thin. I don't recall the exact numbers but your cervix is suppose to be 3.something and mine is only 2.something so she put me out of work have to see her in a week to see if it thickened and I'm taken a medicine. anyone have this or heard about it not really sure how to think at the moment

That doesn't sound horribly thin to me... But I don't know anything about it.
Did the doctor say that this a potential danger to the pregnancy? I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "you don't know how to think at the moment".

yes I am on bed rest until Monday then she will see where to take it from there. she did say she seen worse cases that delivered full term or close to it but everyone is different. she don't want too much pressure down there being that the baby is growing and stretching is going on with me so it's just basically a day by day waiting game for me!!

Your 15 weeks and your baby weighs 4oz? I'll be 14 tomorrow and it's still less than an oz. (i thought) good luck!

yea the app says 2-3 Oz I said the same thing but I was just happy that it was growing haha

To me it sounds like closer to 17 weeks than 15.

Hmmmm just wondering if somehow your dates are off a bit. For baby to be so big and already be able to accurately tell the gender I would think you'd be farther along is all.

With four of my friends, their doctors guessed the gender at 14 weeks. Then it was confirmed at the anatomy scan at 18 weeks. In all cases the doctor was accurate.

Wow lucky girls! My OB refuses to give any sex guesses until 20w just so no one gets excited/disappointed if they aren't correct...im hoping they will be tired of me whining and take a guess since ill be excited for either
