Hey I had a mc on 9/12/14 and now it's almost 5 weeks later with no period. I took a pregnancy test yesterday with a negative result. I have been having some symptoms associated with a possible pregnancy but don't appear to be like last time (which may be a good sign if pregnant). But just confused on whether or not I could actually be pregnant and it's too early to test or if it's negative and I just haven't gotten my period. Help please

OP I'm sorry for your loss. But, are you seriously asking if it's POSSIBLE for you to be pregnant?
Did you have unprotected sex? Then yes, it's possible.
Wait another week, POAS with FMU or go see your doctor. We can't tell if you're KTFU.
I did read the post you had on the May 2015 board asking about your loss. You stated you thought you were 4 weeks at that point. That pregnancy would be considered a chemical pregnancy. One of the PP's in that thread gave you totally inaccurate information on what a CP is. A CP is a pregnancy that can be verified only by chemical means - such as a home pregnancy test. A CP does not mean the embryo failed to attach to the uterus (implantation has to happen in order for HCG to be produced). Lots of people on the Bump spew out false shit about what a CP is. It's a pregnancy and if you were getting positive HPTs, then, when you had your loss, you should have contacted your doctor. Hopefully, you did and they cleared you to have unprotected sex.
Right now you seem to be a little confused about just what day of your cycle this is. The day of your miscarriage would be day one of your next cycle. If your miscarriage occurred on 9/12, then you are on CD30 right now - barely over 4 weeks. The biggest issue is you have zero idea if or when you ovulated so you do not know if you are "late" for your period. I suggest you check out fertilityfriend.com and start charting your basal body temperature. It will help you not be so confused.
Finally, you are a stranger to this board. This is a community of women who are in various stages of trying to conceive after a loss. Not a single one of us is pregnant unless we are going through a loss right now. When someone who is a member of this board becomes pregnant, they move to PgAL (pregnant after a loss). It is hurtful to this community when a complete stranger asks if they are pregnant. Think about how hard it is for you to hear pregnancy announcements IRL since your loss. It is the same here. If you are not pregnant, you are welcome to stay but please respond to other posters and offer support on threads you did not start. Also, if you think about the question, it is kind of silly. We really have no way to answer it correctly other than "possibly" because, if you had unprotected sex then there is a hypothetical chance you could be.
