How is everyone feeling? How is pregnancy treating you and your partner this week? Any updates to share? Any upcoming appointments?
QOTW: Since becoming pregnant have you gotten any unwarranted/un wanted advice? What was the advice?

Re: Pregnancy Check-In (Oct. 13)
I am 20weeks pregnant and have been continuing to feel stronger movements which is really exciting. I also had a woman who was in for a hearing test say "so I see you are expecting a little one" strange when a complete stranger points out that you are pregnant. I am still keeping the pregnancy on the down low the best I can. Although R told me that I seriously need to just tell people soon because it is getting pretty obvious. We go in for our A/S on Wednesday looking forward to hopefully finding out the sex and hearing that baby is growing.
QOTW: Since most people don't know I am pregnant I have avoided getting to much advice. I was eating candy at work and one of the only people there who know I am pregnant asked me if I should be eating that which bothered me.

I'm 19 weeks 2 days now
I have my anatomy scan tomorrow which I'm really excited about. Crazy to think this will be the last time I see my little guy until I give birth to him! I'm feeling good so far. No weight gain yet which is amazing considering how little I've done to try to control it. I think baby-making is metabolically expensive on the ol' body so I guess that makes sense.
I haven't gotten any advice yet, really. Just people telling me "When *I* was pregnant..." and then providing me with some horror story or another which I very much don't appreciate but whatever. Oh, and my former boss gave me a nice little gem: "You know what, now that I sit here and think about it, I really regret becoming a mother."
Um... thanks?
No one knows I'm pregnant either, @Amber&Reva. I have the benefit of being fluffy so while my stomach is round and hard, it's not any bigger than it was before (prior to pregnancy it was round and soft so that's the only difference). I'm kind of dreading when strangers will start to notice. I'm afraid I'll say something snarky like "I'm not pregnant, just fat." I still need to get my maternity shirt that says "My RE Knocked Me Up" but I'm waiting until I look more pregnant for that.
But, so far so good. I got a Snoogle to sleep with at night, which has turned out to be dangerous because I'm a little too comfortable wrapped in its soft embrace. The evening I got it I decided to test it out and fell asleep in minutes. C was nice enough to let me sleep through the night and I ended up sleeping 12 hours. I felt great the next day
I recommend the Snoogle to anyone!
QOTW: The only advice i've gotten (surprisingly) is to eat less salt. Um hello... my DOCTORs say to eat more salt so f- off! (especially when i've already told you that 5x.). DW has been getting advice on every.single.step. What to register for, what to wear, etc. It's gotten to the point where I dont even want to hear the girls name if it has a suggestion in it, but at least i dont have to see her every day.
Hello All!
After a tough week of moving, I am feeling so grateful for being in our new house, with our baby on the way! Moving was hard because everyone kept telling me to take it easy, and sit down, and how they know someone who went into labor... or lost a baby... etc. etc. while moving. Finally I just isolated myself so no one could talk to me. Hiding was better than sitting around feeling useless!
Anyway, physically I am feeling pretty good! Feet are starting to swell, but other than that I am feeling normal-ish. Little Squinter is getting so stronger when she is moving that I love to just lay down and watch her make my belly wiggle.
QOTD: So much advice... Get an epidural- don't get an epidural, don't drink too much soda, thinking you will cloth diaper is ridiculous, having a mid-wife is silly (get a real doctor), when are you going to get maternity clothes?....
Everyone has an opinion... and I am really learning how to cull out the good and the bad... Its has been kind of empowering in a way!

@doodah1013 - I admire your positive attitude towards unsolicited advice. I, personally, am extremely irritated by it and make it known before a conversation starts that I won't be receptive to anyone else's opinions about how I'm handling my pregnancy. My inner mama-bear is making itself heard!
Do your thing, find your midwife, and embrace the cloth diapers! That's all I gotta say. A good friend of mine cloth diapered and she had a lot of positive things to say about it.
Had some scary symptoms over the last few days. Likely hyperglycemia. However many of the symptoms mirror preeclampsia. Doubly excited for my appointment for that reassurance. The nurse told me to rest and take it easy tonight and to call immediately if I start to feel worse or have another episode. Hoping it's just blood sugar. I can manage that!
There is one woman at work that is constantly giving me "helpful" advice. She and I have very different ideas about labor and childbirth so I think that's why it irks me when she tells me what to do. I really think it's coming from a good place.
Other than that, my friends with babies have been so wonderful. Offering suggestions and also listening...they accept that I'll be doing things a little differently...A little "crunchier".
