I was wondering when one of these threads would pop up. OP, I'm puzzled why you'd even post this considering you haven't posted before, and you know full well the responses you'll get. And you're not full term as of yet.

And while CO can and does work (with sometimes minimal side effects), as researchers have shown EP3 prostaglandin receptor to play a key role in inducing labor in some women (when their body is ready), it should be done under the supervision of a provider. My midwife and I used this method (and herbs) for my homebirth with #4, and the "effects," while very delayed, were minimal. That isn't the case for others, however. My current midwife will use herbs before CO since most women want to avoid such "effects."

Oh, we know... we know. :))
  • 38+4. I hope your LO is ready. If it works I would be super surprised. I'm guessing you haven't spent to much time reading up on this. It's not working for any one dumb enough to try. And when it does they are over due. Not under. Prayers for your LO.
  • Where the fuck do you even buy castor oil? I have never seen it at any store I've been to.

    eBay?

Out of curiosity I looked on Amazon and they sell it. I can't believe people willingly ingest this shitm

Yes. Your ass hole will be hurting after taking castor oil.

This is very dangerous for the baby because it can cause the baby to have a bowel movement in the amniotic sac and then breathe it in if your bowel spasms don't cause you to go into labor. Did you notify your dr or midwife that you were going to do this /did this? You probably should.
  • Oh god. There's always going to be one moron who does this.
