22w2d and S is cranky!!!! She had her first night of rough sleep. She wanted to sleep on her back sooo bad.

She has reached an uncomfortable spot in the pregnancy and both boys are breech atm.

Dr. Appointment is Wed. Not expecting any new discovery. Last week appointment at Duke showed all things we were slightly worried about have went away (except SCH, but it seems to be resolving and not causing any issues).

Exciting: family still in town, but it's my family this time.

Qotw: I'm going to say what I hope they get from S. I hope they get her bright blue eyes and her drive to know more! I hope they don't get her stubbornness and her will to ALWAYS be right, even when she's wrong!

Hi, I'm 32+ 5 today. I'm counting down each day! Sleep is tough and I'm always happy for morning to arrive. It took me 4 years to get here so what's 4-5 more weeks in the scheme of it all, right? If I can get a few things done each day, it's a victory.

I have a NST tomorrow afternoon. I think I'm having some contractions or more irritable uterus as it hurts at various times--esp after peeing..Strange.

QOTW : we used donor eggs so the girls won't be getting anything from me. It is what it is. I do hope they both have blue eyes so that it isn't obvious that we used DE. Both me and DH and both of our parents have blue eyes so if we had a genetic child, it would be very unusual to not have a blue eyed baby. I just don't want all the questions especially since we'll already get a million questions with twins. Our donor had blue eyes as well so I'm hopeful. We'll see soon enough..

@MrsMcIrish I'm sure your girls will pick up plenty of personality traits from you, and we all know personality is more important than looks anyway

How many weeks are you? 35w5d
How are you feeling? Kinda ready to be done being pregnant and meet these babies! Had such terrible back and pelvic pain last week I thought I was going to lose it.
Any Dr. Appointments or updates? My OB checked my cervix last week and I was "starting" to efface, not sure exactly how much but not dilated at all, and had the Group B strep swab done. I have another appt Thursday, really hope things are starting to get going by that point!
Anything exiting going on? Had lunch with some friends that were in town yesterday, that's the extent of my excitement these days!

Qotw: what's one characteristic about you that you hope your babies get from you, and what one do you hope they DONT get from you? Physically I hope they get my green eyes, personality wise I hope they get my sense of empathy. I hope they don't get my shyness, it can take me a while to stop feeling self conscious.

22 weeks- starting to feel bigger and a lot more tired! In some exciting news- my husband and I leave for a 3 night vacation on Thursday morning- time for us to get away before we have 4 kids under the age of 3 and it gets a lot harder!

I hope the girls get my great sense of motivation but I do hope they can get a better sense of relaxing/chilling out than I have- I am always in a hurry!

I am 24 weeks this week! My MFM has it as today and the bump has it as tomorrow so close enough. It is a huge milestone but still nervous of course. Next goal is 28 weeks! I have OB appointment and glucose 1 hour test this week. OB apointments are so boring compared to MFM. I start going every 2 weeks to OB and every 3 weeks to MFM so lot's of boring waiting rooms in my future but I am blessed to have so much medical care.

Sleeping is..miserable. I feel like a zombie during the day now. I start working from home a bit this week so hoping I can get some naps in to help. My ribs by the end of the day are killing me so maybe working from home some will help with that.

QOTW:
I hope they have my sense of humor. I hope they don't get my lack of patience

Mrs.McIrish - you are so close hang in there! I have been reading up on epigentics and DE so who knows maybe they will have more of your physical qualities than you think.

How many weeks are you? 26w4d

How are you feeling? Getting uncomfortable to be standing for "long" periods of time, but also equally as uncomfortable sitting in chair! Having quite a few BH.

Any Dr. Appointments or updates? No updates, next appt is growth ultrasound & dreaded orange GD drink on 29th!

Anything exiting going on? Have most all big purchases complete & nursery is coming together!

QOTW: I pray the girls get my relaxed go with the flow personality, and not sure of what trait I don't want them to have of mine.....

1. 31w1d

2. During the day not too bad. My body definitely tells me when it's had enough. Night time sucks.

3. Had my last appointment with MFM today (they just did u/s and manage my GD over the phone). Boy weighs 3.9 and girl weighs 3.12. OB appointment on Thursday, then I start going twice a week for NST's and monitoring.

4. Nursery is 90% complete and only very few other things to do.

QOTW: hope they get my sense of humor and hope the don't get my impatience.

How many weeks are you? 36 weeks

How are you feeling? Exhausted and mu back and hips are killing me.

Any Dr. Appointments or updates? I had an u/s today. A is still down, but B turned transverse. A is 6lb 1 oz. B is 5lb 12oz. I'm 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced. My blood pressure was higher than usual so I'm supposed to start monitoring it.

Anything exiting going on? Making progress in the nursery.

Qotw: what's one characteristic about you that you hope your babies get from you, and what one do you hope they DONT get from you? I hope they like sports like dh and me. I hope they don't get my freckles

How many weeks are you? 35w5d

How are you feeling? You could put a fork in me because I'm done! The boys are still baking, but the lack of sleep and overall uncomfortableness with day to day things is taking its toll on me.

Any doctor's appointments? Last Wed. had my NST and passed with flying colors, although they were surprised I had so few contractions. When I saw the Ob I was tested for GBS, received my dTAP shot, and had my first cervical check since about 18 weeks. Nothing going on down there 0 cm dilated & 0% effaced.

Anything exciting going on? Got to together with some friends over the weekend to watch our college team. Other than that keeping it low key.

QOTW: I hope they my love for individual sports running & biking. I hope they don't get my stubbornness or my lack of hand/eye coordination.

Hellooooo! 26 weeks tomorrow! Stupid pregnancy app had to remind me I have 99 days left (which means like 80 because my ob isn't letting me go past 37 weeks). Eeeek! Its kind of scary now that I'm in double digits until they are here! Had my one hour glucose last Thursday and failed. Went in for my three hour on Friday...and failed. So, yay for GD. I'm meeting with a nutritionist sometime this week, just waiting for them to give me a call. I'm bummed, but that's life, right? Its not the end of the world. A is measuring 1lb 15oz and B is measuring 1lb 13oz as of last Wednesday, so yay for being right on track!

QOTW: I hope they enjoy music like the hubs and I (I play the violin and he plays the cello), I really really hope baby girl doesn't get my fertility problems (pcos and endo).

How are you feeling? The heartburn is ridiculous. I'm tired and uncomfortable. I'm ready to be done working, but not ready for these babies to be here yet.
Any Dr. Appointments or updates? High blood pressure at my last appointment (again), but it came down so they weren't too worried about it. I think I have 23 days until my tentative scheduled c-section...still hoping to make it that long!

Qotw: what's one characteristic about you that you hope your babies get from you, and what one do you hope they DONT get from you? I hope they get my hard-working attitude. I hope they do not get my highly anxious personality - my husband is much more relaxed than me!

21+3!

So much movement now! I've felt them for the past several weeks now but it's amazing how much more active they are now that they're getting so big. Watching my stomach roll and bump is pretty cool too.

No Appts until next week. We did get baby shower invites in the mail, well most of them. Sending out the rest tomorrow. I do have to go tomorrow to have my wrist checked... It feels sprained.

I hope they get my attention to detail but not my "overthinkingness" lol.

HI Everyone! I love reading the updates!

How many weeks are you? 23 weeks today! 1wk until VDay!!
How are you feeling? I'm feeling great still. Although I had my first rough night of sleep last night, so I ordered one of those pillows this morning. I can tell that I do need to start taking it a little easier by the end of the day tho. These boys get heavy
Any Dr. Appointments or updates? Had an OB apt today. All is good. My glucose test is in a month as well as another u/s. My weekly CL checks end in three weeks, YES! Then my MFM wants me to start coming every week starting at 27wks... I'm going to fight it. That seems a bit much for having no issues.

QOTW: I hope they get my smarts and love of being active and outgoing. I hope they do not get my impatience.. I'm terrible at waiting for anythig.

35 today!

How are you feeling?
I have definitely hit the wall. I haven't slept in days, and have been having random contractions for about a week. Not more than 4 in an hour, but they have started.

Any Dr. Appointments or updates?
Next appointments are on Friday- MFM ( growth scan) and OB (for tdap, cervical check, and GBS swab).

Trying not to get my hopes up that B is now vertex!

Anything exciting going on?
well, I spent Weds night in L&D after a fall. Contractions were coming between 3-5 minutes apart at one point. That wasn't fun, but they were able to get them under control, and a quick u/s may have shown vertex/vertex!

Qotw: what's one characteristic about you that you hope your babies get from you, and what one do you hope they DONT get from you?
Oh my. I hope they get my sense of humor, but don't get my ability to procrastinate!
