I posted in last week's check in last night without thinking. So I'll update in here instead. So I woke up to AF and I'm so pissed off. My beta test isn't until this Thursday. I'm only 11dpiui. I still don't have my normal early cramps that I always get 1-2 days before it starts. Then, last Thursday I spotted off and on all day and I called the nurse just to make sure that I didn't have to go back on progesterone supplements and she told me no and even said she is hoping the spotting is implantation. Everything was pretty much perfect this cycle. I had 3 follicles, a thick lining, dh's numbers were high. At my progesterone bw last week my nurse said my results were very good so I know I ovulated when I was suppose to. Ok sorry for rambling. I'm just in shock honestly because I wasn't expecting AF to start today at all. I feel like all these injections have done is shorten my cycle.

I'm now 9 dpiui. I got the faintest of faint lines this morning, so I'm hoping to test negative tomorrow so I know the trigger's out. My appointment for my beta is only a week away.

I know there are a bunch of ladies that are a couple days ahead of me... hoping you all get some good news later this week!

Good morning! I am still in 2WW, testing on Thursday this week if AF doesnt show before then. I had some pretty bad cramping on Saturday morning, not sure what to think of that....

QOTW: I was a 50's girl one year and that darn costume was soo cute! I loved it b/c it had a full skirt that I loved to twirl around in

Good morning

Today is 7DPiui and I had some spotting yesterday which I think is normal on crinone. I'm feeling the side effects of crinone a lot more this cycle. I honestly hate the second week of the 2WW soooo much. I'll test on Sunday or possibly go in for a blood test a week from today.

My favorite costume when I was little was a scarecrow. My mom sewed hay onto shirt and pants and stuffed me with pillows.

Good luck with your first iui!

Well maybe I was little dramatic earlier. I thought AF was starting, but it ended up just being some brown and pink spotting and it hasn't done anything in hours. I'm definitely not getting my hopes up, but I always start full on and I have pretty heavy early days on the injections. So we'll see.

Trigger finally testing out today (10DPO). Won't lie, I was kind of hoping for one of those things there the positives never go away...not feeling terribly hopeful after seeing a BFN again.

At least when I recorded it, FF didn't splash a big "So Sorry!" screen the way they flashed a big "Congrats BFP!" screen when I recorded the trigger-induced positive.

Given the number of reasons that a BFP wouldn't be celebrated (prior early losses, blood beta with a known poor number or poor rise, women using FF to help prevent pregnancy, and how about the fact that a BFP on 1DPO is probably related to that hCG trigger I plugged in?), do they feel a congrats message is in good taste? Ok rant over.

QOTW: We bought some flowy cream-colored dress from Goodwill, add angel wings and a halo to it, and I wore that thing from when it was floor-length to when it was knee-length. Felt quite angelic/bridal. Of course, some years we added a crown and it made a fairy princess.

@molly84 I'm so sorry! With a 10-day luteal phase, it makes sense to request progesterone again next cycle.

@bluefairy5 Those follie sizes sounds great, you can plan on 1-2 mature I believe. I'm sorry but it is a little funny that YH has missed the "target"...I see that checkbox on every script for SAs and think to myself, I would kill DH if he missed!! Then again, seeing what happens to the toilet between cleanings, it shouldn't be surprising.

It is CDay30 and we are still prepping for IUI #6.
After the second round of Femara/Letrozole, the u/s and b/w on Saturday showed that things are progressing: One follie at about 15mm and a few more at 12mm, and my estradiol is finally rising. FX that I have more than one mature follie this cycle!! Anything to up my chances!
I have another appointment tomorrow to see if we are ready to trigger.

QOTW: I enjoyed dressing as She-RA so much that I think that I wore the costume for two different years.

Good luck to everyone this week!

I had IUI #5 this morning. SA was the best we've had yet (20 million post wash) so I'm hopeful. He hasn't had alochol in 2 weeks, and starting taking Men's One a Day, so maybe that helped? Who knows!

Apparently my nurse forgot to tell me at my last ultrasound that they wanted me to take Crinone (progestrone) gel until AF arrives, or through 11 weeks if I conceive. This is completely new to me, and although I asked a ton of questions, I'm wondering if any of you are using this?

@lindy04aggie - I was struggling to remember some of my costumes too! I can only remember 2 of them! lol. One year me, my brother and 2 of my cousins all went together. I was Glinda the good witch, one of my cousins was the wicked witch, my other cousin was Dorothy and my brother was the tin man. We were pretty cute.

What I actually remember more than my costume that year is walking up to a house where the ladies handing out candy were dressed as witches and they asked what I was, so I told them I was a good witch, and the one yelled "We don't like good witches here!" and sprayed me with silly string. I was traumatized. But now it's funny

I'm on CD3. Still waiting on the RE office to call to schedule a baseline. IUI #3 in the works for this month hopefully.

I am 13dpiui, trying not to POAS or get my hopes up that all my usual "symptoms" for AF are no where in sight right now.

My favorite Halloween costume as a kid was probably Cat Woman when I was 8 or 9 I think.

BlueFairy5 Good luck on your first IUI! It should be pretty painless

I am currently 6 dpiui. I will probably start testing on Wednesday to watch the trigger fade out. We hosted Thanksgiving last night which has been a great distraction from worrying/wondering about this cycle.

As for costumes, I dressed up a lot as a witch or a gypsy as a kid.

My favorite Halloween costume was when I was 4-5 years old I was a pumpkin. It was a soft, fluffy. It wasn't anything special, but it still is my favorite.

Still in the 2WW, 10 dpiui. Test day is Friday.

@curve31 sorry that IUI #2 round didn't work, but I hope that this next one works out.

I am at 10dpiui, and I don't have much hope for this round. Got that achy/crampy feeling and my temp took a nose dive, so I am guessing I am just waiting for AF to arrive.

QOTW: Princess Leia! My mom also made all my costumes growing up, and for this one she made me a headband thing with two huge buns on the side. My brother went as Dagobah Luke that year, and she made him a paper mache Yoda to carry in his back pack. I remember it being pretty epic.

IUI #3 was officially a BFN

I just had my baseline u/s today and started Clomid for IUI #4. I had a hard time with this BFN (even though I was expecting it) because I'm starting to worry IUIs will not work for us. I think I've heard that if IUI is going to work, it'll work in the first 3-4 tries. My husband is really not comfortable with IVF so I don't think that's an option for us. So if the IUIs don't work, I don't know what to do next and it makes me panic

We're going to try three more for six total, so I'm just really really really hoping one of those works.

QOTW: When I was in kindergarten I decided I wanted to be a "lady" for halloween. I wore a white wig, glasses, and lots of fake pearls. I remember telling everyone I was a lady. The pictures are so funny.

@moto611 I can understand this feeling, even though I am only on IUI #2. I worry so much that it isn't going to work for us. MH doesn't want to do IVF either (which is completely understandable since we use donor sperm). We are also giving it 6 tries and then will probably go the adoption route. I know worrying doesn't help anything, but it is so hard to stay positive. I really hope this time works out for you!

Nothing to report here. Chugging along with our break. CD 23 (I think)...waiting to see if AF shows up which would be awesome news because it would mean I O'd on my own.

QOTW: My mom always went all out for Halloween costumes. One year I was a gumball machine. She made a red skirt and beret and I wore a clear trash bag with arm holes that was stuffed with colorful balloons. It was similar to this one. Pretty snazzy.

Well today I am 1dpIUI so let the 2ww madness begin. The whole cycle I've just felt so over the process. I forced myself to the RE appts and Just didn't feel into it. Yet somehow this is the best cycle we've had. I told my DH while I was still laying down after the IUI that this is as good as it gets. If it doesn't work then I don't know what to do. Our cycle went amazingly. IUI was on CD 16 which is earlier than it's ever been. DH had 7 Mill washed which is great (we don't have MFI but last month DH only had 3 Mil so this was a nice change). IUI took less than a min to complete. No prob getting the cath in like last month. This is the first cycle in a yr where there literally were No issues. Very thankful for that but just feeling a little to good to be true at this point

@moto611... I'm in the same boat as you.. I had my 5th IUI yesterday (3rd with clomid). My DH has a lower sperm count than average, so we're natural trying things to improve that, but we also aren't sure if IVF is right for us. I voiced my concerns to the RE about how I'm almost out of IUI attempts, and they said there is a next step up in the IUI process where I would use injectables instead of clomid. From what they told me, injectables should produce better quality eggs, but there's a higher chance of multiples than just using clomid. Either way I'll keep you in my thoughts! Hopefully we're both just late bloomers in the IUI process

Late to the party, but checking in.

1. Today's cycle day 2, so I'll go in for blood work and ultrasound tomorrow.

2. This will be our 9th IUI- have to check in with the nurse to see whether I should try for this cycle. I have to go out of town on Day 14 for work, so if I spend all that injectables money and then have to fly out and waste the cycle, I'll scream. I've never gone past day 13, but it's so close, we might save the money and go again in November.

3. Test date will depend on whether the schedule will work out.

As for favorite Halloween costume, my Mom bought a "princess" costume that was a leftover giant pink tutu from our dance studio. I wore it for at least three years running.

I had my baseline today. Everything looks good. I'm doing 50mg of clomid again. I was fine with it but my doctor explained that just because I didn't get pregnant doesn't mean it didn't work well. That some doctors would increase it. I really feel like she makes good decisions for me. I also asked how many IUIs she wanted to do before IVF. She said 1 or 2 more. Which is what I was thinking. She said she is still very optimistic and that 70% of people will get pregnant with IUIs within 3-6 months. She just made me feel so much better after the letdown of the last failed cycle.

Hello there. I would like to be added to this list. I am 12dpiui in #1 IUI process. Beta on Friday. Really challenging to not totally obsess over every feeling or non-feeling. I have not POAS yet, and after reading about the shot affecting that, I'm glad that I haven't . It is driving me crazy. I also did not do well with charting, temping, ovulation etc. Kinda makes me become consumed.

QOTW -. It's funny, after installing reading the question I couldn't really remember any of my costumes, until reading the different posts. Lol! It's funny I also was a 50's girl and loved that damn poodle skirt!! Wish I had one to put on now and swirl around in!

@amymckenzie555 we had our iuis on the same day. I also haven't POAS yet and am trying to hold out until Friday. I think the progesterone has helped me out to not obsess. Everything I feel I blame on that. With that being said though, it has made me think that it didn't work. GL to you!

Quick update on me. I am on CD8 of my second IUI cycle. Femara has been fine thus far. My first monitoring appt is on Saturday so I am curious to see how things are growing. I had a TON of follies at my CD3 appt so I hope a few strong ones are growing to maturity. If I respond similar to my previous cycle, then the IUI will be scheduled for next week.

Well my beta is on Monday but at 15dpiui I'm sure I would have a BFP by now if it were to happen this cycle. The plan is to do 2 more IUI cycles in a row and then go to IVF in February if we have no luck by then.

I was never really expecting this cycle to be successful, but I'm still bumming out a little this morning. At least I'm working a 12 today and I won't have time to dwell on it!

So sorry about all the other BFNs here... hope everyone has a nice relaxing Sunday despite whatever you're going through at the moment : )
