So I am 38w 4d and I decided to use castor oil because I am miserable and sick and crampy and I am already dialated 2.5 cm. this is my first baby and I was just wondering about other peoples experiences with castor oil?
YES, I UNDERSTAND PEOPLE DO NOT AGREE WITH WHAT I AM DOING- I do not care what you have to say, I do not want your critisism, so you can leave if you want to be rude
I will be keeping this updated with how it's working for me!
I took 2 tbsp with Gatorade at 3:10. nothing so far..

I'm sorry, but why are you going to keep this updated with how it's working for you? Do you even know anyone here? Did anyone ask you to keep us updated?

Normally, I stay away from this type of nonsense, but.......
If you recognize the lack of popularity of taking castor oil around here, what makes you think you're going to get any feedback regarding experience WITH TAKING CASTOR OIL????

Should have gone with the weaky face. 0 for 2, OP.

So, you thought castor oil would help you somehow not feel miserable, sick, and/or crampy anymore?
BTW, if I agree not to flame you for your use of castor oil, can I reserve rights to flame you for the rest of the barely intelligible post?
I was wondering when one of these threads would pop up. OP, I'm puzzled why you'd even post this considering you haven't posted before, and you know full well the responses you'll get. And you're not full term as of yet.
And while CO can and does work (with sometimes minimal side effects), as researchers have shown EP3 prostaglandin receptor to play a key role in inducing labor in some women (when their body is ready), it should be done under the supervision of a provider. My midwife and I used this method (and herbs) for my homebirth with #4, and the "effects," while very delayed, were minimal. That isn't the case for others, however. My current midwife will use herbs before CO since most women want to avoid such "effects."

38+4. I hope your LO is ready. If it works I would be super surprised. I'm guessing you haven't spent to much time reading up on this. It's not working for any one dumb enough to try. And when it does they are over due. Not under. Prayers for your LO.
Yes. Your ass hole will be hurting after taking castor oil.
This is very dangerous for the baby because it can cause the baby to have a bowel movement in the amniotic sac and then breathe it in if your bowel spasms don't cause you to go into labor. Did you notify your dr or midwife that you were going to do this /did this? You probably should.
Where the fuck do you even buy castor oil? I have never seen it at any store I've been to.
Walmart, apparently.
Hmm...not surprised. Betcha that's where OP found it.
Dude! Walmart sells everything. They have coffins for sale on their website. Which is convenient since op is probably going to wish she was dead when the castor oil kicks in and she feels like her insides are erupting out of her asshole.

Oh, we know... we know.
I think castor oil works best* when paired with Alli.
*best for causing oily fecal leakage.
eBay?
eBay?
Out of curiosity I looked on Amazon and they sell it. I can't believe people willingly ingest this shitm

Ridiculous.
