Re: ~*~ 3T Grad Check In ~*~ 10/9
:-h Good morning, 3T.
Nothing really new and exciting here. We met with a pediatrician on Monday for a "meet and greet" and we loved her and the whole practice. I have had some fears about trying to breastfeed as an IR PCOSer and the doctor was great about sitting down with me and coming up with a customized plan to help me get off to the right start with trying to build milk supply and nurse.
I do my preadmission paper work with the hospital on Tuesday after a check up with my OB. Everything is going well though. Here is the latest bump pic.
I am stalking you ladies always and keeping you all in my T&P. I know there have been some people going through a really hard time around here. Sending you ladies lots of ((hugs)).
QOTW: Sons of Anarchy! I cannot wait to see how it ends.

All well here. I took my glucose test today - that drink wasn't delicious, but it was no big deal. Here's hoping I pass!
We received our crib (and our car seat!) in the mail this week, gifts from our shower which were shipped to our home. It was no problem to assemble and is starting to look like a real nursery!
Always lurking and rooting! There's a lot of new faces I don't recognize - I am always sorry when people need to be here, but so glad this community exists. Big hugs to all, and I am rooting for you!
Off birth control March 2012 - Actively trying Sept 2012-April 2014
BFP on May 5th after Follistim & IUI #3
I lurk more often these days because I am on maternity leave for another 7 weeks. Baby Conner is doing great. We are still adjusting to each other but when I look at him I think of how far I've come. I try to remind myself of this when I am beyond tired because of middle of the night feedings.
Hoping to see some BFP's from the board. Please know I am rooting for all of you! I've attached a recent picture of him.
He's beautiful! Congrats, mama!

I'm 10 weeks. We haven't had an U/S since finding out we lost the twins. Our next appointment is scheduled for Tuesday, to check out baby and make sure A and B are not negatively effecting Baby's development. I've been having nightmares off and on about something being wrong with Baby. My M/S is settling down and it's frightening me some. I'll feel better after next Tuesday's U/S. We've had 4 U/S appointments and not one has been a happy appointment.
QOTW: I haven't been able to make it past 8:30 every night, so I haven't really watched anything at all.

@gsancho I'm glad you got an OB you like! I love your ultrasound pic; it does look like a little hat, so cute! My H would love that because he loves baseball, haha. Hope the time goes quickly for you until your next appointment!
@rox825 I love the woodsy animals theme! So cute!
@Wolfette139 You look great! I'm glad the cerclage is doing its job!
@southernyankeegirl You look great too! I love the bump pics! I like the white crib; we will probably do white as well. Your puppy is so cute too!
@RammerJammer I hope you get good news at your next appointment about the bed rest and cerclage. I hope your H gets all the furniture put together!
@jenschultz85 He is so cute! I love the name too!
@sugar4bri Glad your babies are doing well! I hope you find a MFM soon! Do you have any friends or relatives who could give you a recommendation? I tried to look up online reviews but that didn't help much for me when looking for an OB. Maybe your OB has some recommendations? GL!
@MrsS728 I'm sorry this pregnancy has been so difficult so far. I hope everything is good on Tuesday; please keep us updated! Thinking of you!
Hi ladies!
I am 12 weeks today! I feel like this is a huge milestone for me because I just though this BFP was too good to be true and that something would have happened by now so I am so so grateful to be here. I had my first OB appointment on Thursday with a new doctor. I wasn't sure if I was going to like him but he was great! Made me feel very comfortable, and asked lots of questions about my RE experience and seemed very sensitive to it.
I got to hear the heartbeat with the Doppler so that was good! No ultrasound though; we have to decide soon if we are doing any of the screenings/tests this weekend and I'm still so unsure what to do! I hope an answer magically comes to me today, haha. We still haven't told many people so we may start doing that next week.
QOTW: I love Big Bang theory!
I am lurking and seeing that some of you are going through a lot right now; big hugs! I'm always cheering for you all!
@catlover790 -- Poor supply seems to be the big concern in trying to breastfeed with PCOS. Are you on metformin? My RE was very insistent that I stay on my pre-pregnancy dose of metformin throughout my pregnancy. The pediatrician we talked to agreed that the Metformin helps a lot of women. She also wants me to start pumping right away -- while we are still in the hospital. She said I will not see a lot of production that early, but pumping right away can encourage milk production and help with supply. She is also going to set me up with a lactation consultant at the hospital to help me get off to a good start because she said that a lot of women get frustrated in the beginning and give up. So I am also taking a breastfeeding class at the hospital this month and she recommended a book I can start reading.
Congrats on making it to 12 weeks! FX you have a H&H remainder of your pregnancy!
