Pregnancy and Interstitial Cystitis

Does anyone else have IC while being pregnant?  I get cramping and bladder pain from my IC but had been doing better on the IC diet and with medication but when I found out I was pregnant I stopped all meds and for the last 3 days I have been having cramping in my central lower abdomen and it freaks me out.

    I have ic and I am 11 weeks! I have been having so many issues lately and it's so depressing. I'm so scared of what's to come in pregnancy and also after. I had it well controlled before pregnancy! How are you doing with it now? Did it get worse or did you find any relief as you went along?

    @rachelfaith05 - I have heard from friends I talk to around the US that they had the best pregnancies and their IC symptoms went completely away, another who is currently pregnant and is being treated with all the same medications, bladder instillations as she was before being pregnant but honestly it has been a horrible experience for me so far :( I went through 5 years undiagnosed and was just diagnosed in Nov 2013 so I was on 4 different meds until I found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks.  I may have chosen the wrong doctors for my care because they wouldn't allow me to stay on meds and my Urologist basically said there is nothing I can do for you without medication and she couldn't see me while pregnant.  I am 28w4d and the third trimester has been the worst yet.  I drink a ton of water and this helps the most.  My diet is the tricky part but like @ladyamanuet says stay away from spicy foods, acidic foods, etc. but I am sure you know that already.  @NatureLovers - I was on Elmiron, Norco, hydroxyzine, & Hyophen but had to stop taking it at 6ish weeks.  I guess it all depends on your doctors for treatment while pregnant apparently it's not well known here so I am SOL until after I deliver.
