huh dh mentioned that name just a few seconds ago, I don't think I like it plus it doesnt go w/ what I want for a middle name. This is going to be a long 7 months as we already agree on boy names.
It's Irish- my cousin named her son Teagan (pronounced "t-gan"). Then again, her other son is Tiernan.... haha They're both 100% Irish and those are family names.

I had suggested this name but DH didn't like it- I was suggesting it for a girl- like PP said, pronounced Tee-gan. I think it's sweet for a little girl, but if you don't like it, stick to your guns. Naming is hard! We never shared the boy's name we had, so we have that, but I know it will be a struggle to come up w/ a girl's name!

One of my 9 y/o dd's best friends is teaghan. Pronounced TEEgan. I have also heard of one other. Spelled and pronounced the same. Love it since I love the little girl I know. Never heard it for a boy.
I knew a girl in college whose name was Teagan, and I like the name...

Re: Teagan?
Ditto. I thought it was a boy name.
That's what I told him but he showed me some site that says it's universal.
What just happened in my diaper?!
I like it. Only because I know a sweet girl named Teagan.
Note to PP - it sounds like "Taygan"

Personally I have NEVER heard it pronounced that way. Tee-gan is how I have always heard it, and that is how we pronounce my DD's name.

Like a few people said before, I see Teagan as more of a boy name. I do like the name!
