When did you feel pregnant?

As of today, I am 11w0d with twins, and other than regular heartburn and fatigue, I don't really have any pregnancy symptoms. I've gained somewhere between 3-5 lbs so far, but I've done worse than that between Thanksgiving & Christmas - in fact, I did just that last year, and I never lost it, so I've sorta looked a bit *fluffy* as it were for the past year.

So, I'm just wondering, when did everyone else finally feel like they were pregnant? Did it begin after you started showing? Or when you could start to feel the baby move? Or, does it never really feel .... err.. real?

And, am I going to regret these statements, and just miss feeling normal in the coming weeks?

I think I started when my bump poked out. I'm a petite 5'2" and there was no hiding the bump by 16 weeks. Now that I feel movement & feel pretty round I definitely feel pregnant.

A lot of the time I don't feel pregnant, but I also have heartburn very regularly and am pretty tired by the end of my work day...the biggest thing I'm having trouble getting used to is my constantly bloated stomach and the fact that I feel like I *look* pregnant even though I know I'm not actually showing yet. I'm so self conscious about it because I'm still hiding my news so getting dressed in the morning has been a pain in the ass. ETA: I've also gained 3 lbs so far, so nothing extreme.

I started to feel really pregnant when she started to move constantly. Interestingly enough, when she doesn't move, I kinda forget I'm pregnant.

I had zero symptoms. I "felt" pregnant when strangers could tell I was pregnant. Strangers get very excited to see pregnant people ;-) Prob 19 or 20 weeks?

Some days I still don't feel pregnant! But I'd say around our A/S and when the baby started moving, which were both around the same time. Definitely once I could see the baby moving from the outside, that's pretty cool!

At 26 weeks, there are still days when I don't feel particularly pregnant. I finally look pregnant, unmistakably, but I still don't feel pregnant some days.

I got food aversion starting at about 12 weeks, really no symptoms before that, but even that I kept feeling like it was somehow in my head. It wasn't, because it very promptly went away at 16 weeks, but for whatever reason it just didn't feel real, I still felt like I was playing pretend.

Having the baby clearly and undeniably kick me is probably the best reminder that I am pregnant and that there's a little person inside of me. Before then, it felt like it was all this game where I was making up symptoms.

I really didn't have symptoms either.. I had food aversions from wks 8-12 & I was so tired up until 14w. Other than that, I honestly still feel normal. I did start feeling movement everyday starting at 19w too, so that's a good reminder like PPs said. So don't worry, if you are!! Twins doesn't mean double the symptoms lol.

I've had a really symptom free pregnancy. There are times I forget I'm pregnant too! When I realized I really AM pregnant was when I hit about 21 weeks and can feel the baby regularly.... Now I'm 25 weeks and I have a big round belly and feel lots of kicks/flips. Makes it feel VERY real!

I'm 17 weeks and I have a significant bump..but if I don't look down, there are plenty of times I forget I'm pregnant. I have some bad days where my back hurts, headaches, etc. and I really FEEL pregnant but sometimes I go for days without much. Yesterday, I had a sonogram and baby was kicking like crazy but I don't feel it yet (the tech says it's a combo of my placenta placement and tilted uterus) so it's surreal. You aren't alone with a lack of symptoms though and I'm sure there will surely show up in full force one day!

The "oh shit I'm really pregnant" feeling didn't kick in until I started to feel the baby move around 21weeks.

Aw, yay for this thread! Good job, ladies. I have been making myself worried sick over my lack of "symptoms". In the beginning (like before my BFP) I had pretty intense heartburn and dizziness. And then, as I'm waiting for sore boobs and MS, NOTHING. And here I've been since. The only consistent in my life is cramping and that means period, right? SO you can imagine the stress building as I go.

@AMshark You're one of my EDD partners and I can tell you I had convinced myself of bad news last night with minor spotting and intense cramps. I doubt I'm out of the woods yet, but I just did a big ultrasound today and saw the baby in there kicking and sucking its thumb. (Don't tell me it can't do that yet. I'll keep Awing and interpreting as I will. lol) It was such a relief because I don't feel pregnant at 11 weeks.

I was talking to my SIL today and she suggested perhaps I got used to some of the hormone element early on because I started taking Progesterone before I was even technically pregnant. That sort of made sense to me.... No facts behind that, but with all of these ladies who don't have symptoms (and all of the "normals" on my BMB who DO have symptoms) it makes me wonder...

I believe I've read that women are more likely to experience M/S if they are under 35 years old. I feel like the oldest person on my BMB most days - I think this is maybe why they're all puking their guts out. .... But I do like @IFinTN‌ 's theory that I'm just more evolved (like my mother in all 5 of her pregnancies - all of which occurred under the age of 35).

It took me a while to really feel pregnant but being 35 weeks with twins just the other day I said out loud "oh my god, I'm bringing two babies home." It still doesn't seem real. For the longest time I felt like telling people I was pregnant with twins was a lie. I thought maybe I'm just going crazy from not getting pregnant!
