CLR WWYD

I'm an idiot. I was cleaning our bathroom with the stuff without gloves and mask. As soon as I smelled the fumes, I went to get a mask. In attempting to hold my breath I sucked in air and immediately knew that was a mistake. I went outside to get fresh air and looked up the MSDS. It says that inhalation is not a significant route of exposure and to do exactly what I did. Of course, I'm still nervous. I can't really afford a trip to the hospital right now. DH and I have had hard times since my maternity leave. I really don't have any symptoms other than slight headache and my throat still feels fuzzy. I don't think I want to sleep in my bedroom tonight, though.

  • I think you should be fine.
  • I didn't, but I called my dad. He's an EMT. He said just stay in a well ventilated area. He also said poison control almost always tells you to go to the hospital. @mystererae‌ I had never used it before either. I was not prepared for how strong it was.

  • I would open a window for awhile to air the space out. Hope you feel better.

  • I was fine about an hour after it happened. Then I went back to finish cleaning and the symptoms seemed to return. I had my window open for a good portion of the afternoon. And yes, I usually don't wear mask and gloves either but as soon as I read how dangerous it can be, I got scared.

  • My brain is in rebellion tonight.

Are you pregnant? I forget who is pregly these days...

Ventilate the area, & small exposure is probably just fine. I think you might be working yourself up.
