We're watching football. Well- DH is watching... I'm just laying next to him. Later we're doing our C25K workout and I'm making chicken for dinner. Pretty uneventful
Went and had lunch at a local nursery that was having a fall festival. Picked up a pumpkin for LO. DH was in heaven because he got apple cider and kettle corn. Now DH is grocery shopping before we watch the rest of last night's hockey game. I have a day off tomorrow and DH is still on paternity leave, so I'm just enjoying this family time together (even though I'm sick...yuck). All of our shows are on Sunday night...TWD, Cutthroat Kitchen, Last Week Tonight, and Boardwalk Empire, so we'll have to pick one of those.
My brother in law ran a half marathon so we cheered him on. Nightmare traffic coming home though with DS screaming in the backseat, finally home and nursing but now i have to clean ugh
Today I'm cleaning all the maternity clothes out of my closet and taking my regular clothes out of storage! I'm way more excited about this than I should be.
I had my first day out with friends since the baby was born! Lunch at the Cheesecake Factory followed by Gone Girl. It feels so good to be normal again for a little.

Went to our baptism prep class... They actually ask that you bring LO along. Pretty crazy couped up in a room with strangers for 3 hours discussing. I had to nurse twice so I guess I got my NIP training done! Also funny to hear babies crying in harmony. lol

08/14: Our little miracle has FINALLY arrived - 3 years after we started trying!
We went to church, made brunch and relaxed, and went for a fun walk at a park with a nice boardwalk along a river. We saw birds, several turtles, and an alligator!! Now watching Homeland.
Currently driving home from a week at the beach (tried to upload a pic for HDBD but the Internet there blew)... so bittersweet. My parents rented a house in the OBX and DH joined us on Wednesday. It was amazing... we even had awesome beach weather. It was perfect to have DD with my parents for the week. I've already cried once that it's over. Happy to see our pups soon, but not happy to be in 50 degree weather.
It was pretty good! We read the book together beforehand, so we knew what to expect and it was pretty accurate. I'm not sure I would have loved it without having read it first because there's so much going on, but I was definitely engaged the whole two and a half hours. Amy was cast perfectly.
