TS Gonzalo - update

Sometime in the next 24 hrs we're supposed to get hit with tropical storm Gonzalo. They don't think it will turn into a hurricane until it passes by, which is good. We'll probably lose our electricity and therefore our wifi, but I'll come let you know how it went once we crawl out of our hole!
We can still have a hurricane party for a TS, right??

Update: they closed campus for the day. NO STUDENTS, NO WORK!!!

I don't know what a hurricane party is, unless you drink lots of hurricanes and pass out for the worst of the storm...

Stuck in a box

A hurricane party is when you know you're going to be stuck inside in one place for potentially days because it's dangerous to go out, so you invite all your friends over and party it up while you're off work and watch hurricane coverage on the weather channel continuously until your power goes out. Bonus points if you have a generator, a house without roof leaks, and adequate booze.

Hurricane parties are the best/worst. Stay safe and I hope you stocked up in case! And yes you can still have a hurricane party for TS.
