How big is baby?

I've been reading lots of posts about how big everyone's LO's are, and I feel like DS is a giant! He is just over 6 weeks and weighs 12.5 lbs. Gotta love that breast milk. I'm not sure how long he is, as we haven't had our 2 mo appt yet, but I'd say an easy 23 in.

So how about you? How big is LO for his/her age?

My not so little peanut is 9 weeks and at 12lbs3.3oz and 22inches (as of this past Monday). She's ebf and I feel like she's a monster compared to friends babies who are older by a month or 2!

Just shy of 7 weeks: 24" long and 13lbs 8oz. He is in size 2 diapers now.

She's 7.5 weeks, appt on Friday. But at 1mo she was 10-7, around 90th%. Feels substantially heavier now!

My DS's last weight was 10lbs 13 oz at almost 4 weeks. His 2 month appt is this Friday and 14 lbs wouldn't surprise me. He is a pork chop!

12 weeks and about 12 lbs. I tend to have babies that stay on the lower end of the growth chart for weight.

DS was 12.5 at one month! I'm eager to see what he is now. When I look at him in his carseat he seems so much bigger than when we were bringing him home from the hospital.

Ok now you guys are making me think k is tiny! She was just shy of 10 lbs at her two month check up which was a week and a half ago so I can't imagine she's more than 10 lbs 3oz at 11 weeks.

Right there with you. DD was 9lbs 12 oz at her 2 month appointment.

Here too. DD is 11.5 weeks and is 10lbs. She was born 2 weeks early, so maybe that has something to do with it. She is in the 10th percentile.

Only 7 lb 13 at her 2 month! That was a week ago so I am guessing just over 8 pounds. I think being tiny makes her cute

My LO was 10#4oz & 22 inches long at his 6 week appt. I was so glad to see that he was gaining well, made me stress a whole lot less about breastfeeding.

Two month appt was 2 weeks ago. She was 11# 5oz and 23.5 in. 50% for weight and 90% for height. She is 11 weeks now and is probably 12#.

Don't know what he is now (10 1/2 weeks) but at his 2 month check up he was 12.4 lbs (50 percentile), 24+ inches (75-90 percentile) and his tiny head was 15.8 inches (25 percentile). He's all over the place...

When we mention percentiles I think it's important to remember that there are different growth charts (usually WHO/CDC/AAP). Also girls verses boys can vary quit a bit and gains of BF verses FF.

What's the AAP growth chart? I would think everyone's pediatricians are using the WHO at this point since CDC is for 2 years+. Or did I misunderstand something?

Our guy weighed 10 lb 6 oz at 2 month check up and was 23 inches. He will be 3 months this week and seems to be close to 12 but he still fits in NB diapers

DD was 11.44 pounds and 23.25 inches at her two month appointment a week ago. Her head is tiny though, 15 inches. She is EBF. I feel like I can breathe easy about her weight gain, but am now worried about her head. (Pedi isn't concerned, I am just always worrying about something!)

At his 2 month checkup (9 weeks) he was 15lb 3oz and 25 inches

My DD is pretty wee by the looks of things. She was weighed last week. So at 8 weeks (at the time) she was 9lbs, 13 oz. and 22 inches. She started at 20th percentile and is still there. But her Ped is happy with her gain so I am not concerned.

My guy is a peanut, 8.9lbs @ 6 weeks. Still in NB diapers. Not sure about percentile. We have had a rough go with some feeding issues and severe allergies & reflux though so hopefully he will start packing on the lbs!

I have a little guy too 8.5 lbs at six weeks five days. That was about a week ago. Still in newborn everything. Super different from my daughter who was 10 lbs at one month.

Eta: we've had latch issues, reflux and lost 10% of weight in the hospital but gained one pound in two weeks so starting to do better.
