Help me pick a middle name for Maximus!

Hello, I am having a baby boy in early December and we've decided on the name Maximus. My favorite middle name choice so far is Alexander, though I'm still not 100% in love.
I'm finding that it's hard to find something that doesn't sound like it's trying too hard but still sounds elegant and unique. I've already ruled out the Matthew, Mark, Luke John etc and anything too modern sounding like Landon, Carter, Beckett that type of thing.
I am thinking names that have a roman, Grecian or old fashioned flair could be good, or even something totally odd ball, I.e Maximus Wilder, or something like that. Unique is good.

Anyone up for the challenge to help me out a little?

I think Alexander is a great, solid choice. I do prefer Maxwell to Maximus though.

We had Maximus on our list. I love Maximus Ethan. Depends on last name too. Alexander is good too. I can't think of anything greeky currently but you could pull a movie quote. Maximus Desimus Meridus. I think that's how it went. Maximus Roman..Tallon...
