Oh thank heavens!

I've had a never ending migraine since Tuesday. . Went to the dr today, and turns out I also have a sinus infection. So I had antibiotics and a muscle relaxer prescribed. Thank the heavens because my migraine is FINALLY gone!!! I feel loopy as hell...and a little sick to my stomach, but I'll take it over what I had!
But does anyone have any tips on that nausea? Is there and way to prevent it? I've never taken them before and Dr and pharmacist didn't mention anything

Re: Oh thank heavens!

  • I would ask for zofran. It's a life saver.
  • Read all the directions on the meds. If it says to eat with them, then be sure to eat something. If it says not to eat, then wait at least 30 minutes after eating to take them. I have issues with medications, so I have to be sure to follow the directions to a t.

  • Oh I did! Says can be taken with out without food lol so maybe I'll try eating a full meal next time beforehand
  • The ginger gravol is safe during pregnancy (says my pharmacist) and helps with nausea.

  • The only thing that helped my nausa was a glass of sprite
  • I'm having nausea with most meds too. I have been relying on mint candy and pretzels whenever I have to take something.
