new thrush question.

When my son and I found out we had thrush about a week ago I stopped bf and just pumped. My nips were so swollen and so gross that I couldn't imagine bf. After about 4 days it started to feel better so I decided to start bf again.
I was so shocked that it didn't hurt. His latch was way better than it had been before. About 5 minutes after he was finished I got shooting pains in both my breasts. I stopped bf again and pumped exclusively again until today ( about 3 more days since the last time). The same thing happened again!!!!
This doesn't happen when I pump. Both of us are on medicine and taking it as prescribed. I am also using the vinigar water mix, grapefruit seed extract, and probiotics.
I'm going to call my Dr again on Monday.
Any suggestions, ideas, comments?!?
