My LO is sick for the first time :(

This sucks. My 10 week old had a fever of 101.1 this afternoon and now it's down to 99.4 after Tylenol. I hate this! She's all sniffly and congested.

I called the nurse on call and technically we should have taken her to the ER since her temp was over 100.4. The last place I want to take my baby to is a germy ER!!! She's acting ok-eating good, lots of poopy/wet dipes but it's just sad because I know she doesn't feel good. The nurse just said to watch her for now since her temp came down but bring her in if it goes back up. Yay for the first week of daycare! Anyone else dealing with a sick LO this weekend?

I hope your LO feels better quickly! I am not looking forward to daycare germs although they are already in my house from DS1- it's just hard to see a little one so sick.

My LO was sick last week. Had some congestion but no fever thankfully. He was so miserable though and I felt so bad for him.

Yuppers, got a sick LO here too. Also the first week of daycare. Luckily he never spiked a fever, just lots of congestion and now a runny nose. I'm so tired of sucking out snot. Seriously, where does it keep coming from??? I hope your LO starts feeling better and that fever goes away! I am with you though, I wouldn't have rushed to the ER either....

I'm sick right now and I'm just waiting for LO to get it even though I'm doing all I can to keep that from happening. Yuck. I hope your LOs are all feeling better!

Thanks everyone. Her temp went back up to 100.6 but now it's down to 99.1. This crap is stressful for a FTM! I'm a nurse practitioner so you would think this wouldn't phase me but it's hard when it's your own kid!! Especially with all these scary viruses going around now. Whew. I'll be glad when this is over!

@midwestFNP‌ Hope your LO feels better! My older girls brought home the sniffles last week and of course they are all over V. She has had a cold since Friday, but today she seemed better.
