Lightning crotch???

holy crap. Today I started getting very intense spurts of sharp pain in my vagina. Feels like a needle is in there - last for a few seconds and come and goes. Both while sitting or standing, and even when baby is not active... Normal? Not normal?Anyone else? I'm 32 weeks, fortunately my next dr appt is on Monday, so I will definitely ask my doctor about it but just wondering if anyone else knows what this is or is experiencing it??

    It's normal. I had it in my first pregnancy. Just very uncomfortable.

    Definitely have felt this a couple of times. Did not realize there was a term for it but it is very fitting! Baby may have just been moving an arm or leg that's why you didn't feel any other movement.

    I know exactly what you are talking about. I had it with my first pregnancy. I would literally cry out in pain for a sec. I am 30 weeks now and haven't felt it yet. Praying I won't.

    I hate lightning crotch :(
    I haven't had that problem in a month or two, luckily.
