I know not everyone does this, but our vehicles always have names.

My minivan = New Shadow. The original Shadow was totaled by a white Acura Integra whose driver was texting and driving! The new van is also a silver Toyota Sienna, so we just named it New Shadow.

DH's car = Spyder. It's a Mitsubishi Eclipse -- orange. We argue over whether Spyder is a guy or a girl.

In 2013 we bought a conversion van and used it to go on a cross country camping trip. We loved camping out of that van so much that we decided to keep it. It's a Chevrolet Express and its name is Green Giant. It's clearly a guy.

My friends and I had this game where your car's name had to be the same initials as the make and model. My first car was a Plymouth Neon, so my friend named her Poopsy Nana, but I ended up calling her Princess. The names got more refined as we grew up. I currently have a Magnolia Olive, Maggie for short.

My first car was a yellow Ford Festiva. We called it Super Banana (I even had a banana wearing a cape suction cupped to the back window). My brother's first car was a 1977 Toyota Corolla that my grandma gave us. He covered the outside with skateboarding stickers. We called it the Devil Car. None of my other cars have had names.

My first car ('92 Ford Tempo) was names Curby because I ran into curbs a lot. Next car ('00 Honda CRV) was Parker because I suck at parking. My last car was Libby the Jeep Liberty and my current car is Sonny the Sonata. I kinda slacked off with the creativity for the last two.

My last car was a blue Nissan Sentra that I called Crystal. Now I have a Nissan Rogue named Anna, because that was Rogue's real name in the X Men comics.

H has a pickup (Toyota Tacoma) that we call Thomas. He also has a Kia Optima for every day driving that we call Optimus Dan.

Car I learned on - Mamakin (Mom's 1970 Ford Econoline custom camper van)

Family car I drove - The Gambler (1989 Ford Econoline conversion)

First car - the Jolly Roger (1975 Ford Ranger)

Second car - Shazam (1990 Buick le sabre)

Third car (I miss it daily) - Black Adam (1976 Chevy Nova)

Fourth car - Poppy (1994 red Nissan quest)

Fifth car - Millennium F*ckin' (1992 Chevy G20 conversion) when I redid the interior she was rechristened Shrimply Irresistible Mach 1 ( we've talked about naming a future boat Shrimply Irresistable).

Current car - no name yet. (1994 chevy G20 conversion)

Our current car is Quentin. Early on in our relationship we joked about having 5 kids, and since Quentin means '5th born' we'd always say, "When we get to Quentin..." My IF issues mean we will never make it to Quentin, so when we bought a Mazda 5 we decided to name him Quentin.

My previous car was a Sentra and the color name was Cinnamon. It was the late 90s so we named it Cinnamon Spice cause the Spice Girls were everywhere. (It was actually my parents' car which I eventually bought from them.)

My first car was a 1970 VW Beetle which I named Danny Boy. The couple I bought it from were selling their son's car and they kept going on and on about 'Danny this' and 'Danny that'

We never named ours. But as a kid, my Dad's mom gave us a rustbucket of a car which had 6000SE written on the back. A 0 had fallen off and we thought the 6 looked like a G so it was "the Goose." *edit: typo

My Orange Kia Soul is Roscoe. We traded an orange Honda Element for Roscoe that was named Elliott. We also have a love for old Volkswagens, and have a 1969 VW Beetle named Otto, and have had in the past:

And as long as we're talking about older cars, my first car was a 95 Corsica (it was really nice for a first car) and we called it The Shitta because that car had a ton of problems and was a piece of sh*t.

The H had a brown 1992 Oldsmobile when we met and some letters were missing on the back and read Old Bile so that's what we called it. Old Bile. That car was fantastic. So many memories.
