I'm kicking myself right now because we totally deviated from our routine tonight. After a long week, we decided to meet at Central Market after work. CM is the Texas version of WF, I guess. Upscale version of the TX grocery chain, HEB. The CM we went to is super popular with young families - cafe (with adult beverages), live music, and a playground. Well, my food sucked. Ash was too distracted by everything to nurse and ended up dropping most if his solid food on the ground. Head home a little late for my taste - around 6:40 - and he starts crying in the car. Hungry and sleepy (he has dropped down to one nap a day every day this week ( ). By the time we get home, he's super unhappy, so we skipped bath and went straight to nursing to sleep. He's still squirming and won't fall asleep. Worried that he won't sleep well tonight without a good dinner in his tummy. Sigh...
My plan right now is to get up in the morning to run with him, them we're headed to a farm that has a pumpkin patch and other fall festive activities.
Sunday will be a lot if the usual.
Here's hoping that my baby sleeps tonight. He's still squirmy. :P
The wife and I are doing chores tomorrow, which is my first day off in approximately 3 weeks. Then Sunday I am back at work for another 3 weeks until we leave for Vegas on Halloween. We will be watching our Cowboys play the Seahawks on Sunday! So yeah, pretty low key weekend! I am gone so much that I love staying at home when I can. Kris and I built a brand new house and have only lived in it a year and I don't get to enjoy the house as much as I would like.
So side note: I grew up in TX. I remember going grocery shopping with my mom at HEB and have fond memories of making a game out of only walking on the colored tiles. I would walk/jump from colored tile to colored tile. Is their floor still like that??
Tonight we did dinner and grocery shopping after J got home. Now she's making me watch an episode of American Horror Story before bed. (Part of the reason I'm bumping, gives me something to look at during scary parts lol)
Tomorrow we'll probably run more errands and then go over to my parent's house to watch some football.
Sunday I'm super excited for!! We're road tripping to Cincinnati to watch the Panthers/Bengals game! We've never been to a professional football game so we're all pretty excited about it!
Last night - L had a meeting at church. The kids and I had pizza and movie night.
Today - L is helping the kids with their school project while I tackle our mountain of ironing and make miini muffins for next weeks breakfast. We are going to take the kids to see a movie this afternoon and L has to work on her lesson plan for sunday school tomorrow.
Sunday - Church, soccer, and flag football. We'll go to dinner after and then come home to get ready for the week.
Yesterday we had my 6-week post partum doctor visit (at 7 weeks) and then went put to lunch followed up by a visit to one of Seattle's cool smaller art museums! Other than the down-both-legs blowout in the parking lot of the museum, it went great! We purged Simone's clothes (yes, already!) and I took a batch to consignment and some to a friend, then she and I walked around Greenlake. We got a later start then planned and ended in darkness. Whoops!
Today we're having brunch with a couple and their baby who we met in childbirth education class, and then have a potential casual wedding to attend but we're not sure about that. J wants us all to go to the record store (she's a bit of a vinyl nerd) and I have some stuff to post on Craigslist.
Sunday I want a lazy day! Football on the couch, some internetting (yes, I made that into a verb) , finishing ordering baby announcements, and I'm starting to think about/plan for baby's first Christmas so working on that (stocking, keepsake ornament, etc.).

J just went to get our csa from the farmers market while M takes a nap on my lap. Then we are going to go on a little hike. Later tonight we will probably work on our Halloween costumes, take the dogs for a walk, and might go watch the soccer game with friends.
Tomorrow we are going shopping for matchingish outfits for our pictures next Monday. Walk the dogs, Halloween stuff. Whatever else comes up,oh and our hair stylist is coming over in the evening to give us both a cut...she's the best.

A has the weekend off, so maybe a nice dinner to eat with X Factor tonight.
Living the life of Riley, as usual, lol.
